I came across a pre-9/11 document from The Islamic Center of Raleigh. Michelle Malkin posts an item pointing to this contemporary story from WRAL regarding the center's complaints about a sign at the Good News Independent Baptist Church. Michelle's post here.

Rev. Gary Murrell put up the sign, which on one side claims the message of Islam is "submit, convert or die."

The other side reads: "When is the last time you heard of a Jew or Christian with a bomb strapped to their body?"

While the pre-9/11 item certainly isn't overtly threatening at all, as an American living in a secular society, what is it one is supposed to make of this: Shorter version, you are Muslim first, last and always, you should mix only, and even live with Muslims if you can manage it. And don't fancy yourself as an American, that's simply something Satan will exploit. And these pan-Arabists have the nerve to suggest the problem is that Christians and secular Americans don't understand them? The real problem they have is, the people actually looking at them understand them too well.

The Role of the Muslim Community in Raising Children in a non-Muslim Society

If you live closer to the Masjid, you will be more easily able to participate in the daily prayers for example. It is important that you also establish good relationships on the basis of Islam with other Muslim families. And to make effort to live in a neighborhood with other Muslim families, so that you can share your experiences about raising your children with them.

We need to establish good relationships on the basis of Islam with other Muslim families. That relationship should be based only on Islam and nothing else. Also, be aware from falling into racism, nationalism that the prophet (S.A.W.) warned us against: "Leave it alone. It stinks." The Asabiyah can be exploited by the Satan among people and Jinn, which will lead to the destruction of the Muslim unity.

To keep away from the Asabiyah involves a number of things:

Many people who fall in the traps of nationalism are not even aware of the seriousness of this practice which destroy the relationship among Muslim children and among Muslim families. Therefore, destroys the meaning of the Islamic universal message that we need to implant in their minds and exemplify it in their reality.

The extent to which these so-called moderate Islamic groups are working to create precisely the kind of non-assimilated pockets in America currently breeding such unrest in Western Europe should be of concern for everyone - unless you fancy yourself one day living in an Islamic state. They do not appear to be the least bit interested in helping their people assimilate. Instead, they think our job is to understand them. Fortunately, some Americans do understand them, but far too few for comfort if you understand their ultimate goal. The nationalism they preach against is America and her democracy and, if they don't like it, ... fill in the rest.

islam is a dangerous death cult pure and simple. It needs to be treated like the klan or anyother racist and hateful group. We need to put huge amounts of pressure on these groups. I think the first thing we need to do is take a page or two from the muslim playbook. Namely that we start to classify islam as a mental disease and to pass laws that make parts of islam illegal and abusive thus enabling our law enforcement agencies to remove children from the hands of extremeists. This will encourage muslims to tone down some of their more unacceptable behaviors the more mainstream they become the less they will be on the governments radar.

Expanding this line of thought further...

I say that the President should prepare an executive order to enact an emergency directive immeidately reclassifying Islam from being a "religion" (a belief system and form of worship of a god which is protected in degrees by the Constitution) to the status of "an enemy ideology" which currently jepoardizes the security and well-being of American citizens.

I would ordinarily call for a legislation to be made for this, but the Congress is already overrun by pro-Islamist interests as it is.

Reclassifying Islamism as an "Enemy Ideology" would allow for us to deal with Islamists much the same way as we did with Communists and other Marxist/Socialist subversives in the 1950s-1970s.

Phase I would include the authorization for COINTELPRO-type operations against suspected masjids and certain other community organizations that may be used by foreign and domestic Muslim nationals (bear in mind that a Muslim has no true allegiance to any other nation state than the Caliphate).

All current masjids (mosques) and community centers would be closed down and the rights to those buildings auctioned off to Christian churches, Synagogues, Buddhist Associations or approved secular NPO charities by way of blind bids. The US General Accounting Office would turn over monies gained from these sales to help offset expenses for the VA and directly assist families of deceased veterans of the actions in the Persian Gulf from 2001 to present.

Phase II would outline the roundup and deportation or internment of Islamic enemy nationals (currently on government blacklists, along with any others that are identified as "suspicious" or subversive.

Phase III would be directed toward Muslim citizens who are propertied in the USA - they would have to sign an oath a loyalty to the US government, and pay an indemnity tax worth 10% of their USA-based holdings, or face internment and seizure of said property. (Consider this an inversion of the Jizzyah tax).

Alternatively, if they wish to avoid paying the tax, they would be given a choice to eat a large ham sandwich in front of three witnesses every Friday night at 5pm (local time).

Interning the Muzzies would also make keeping an eyeball on them much easier.

Well seekeronos I agree with some of what your saying here but I think much of it can be handled with laws that are already in use. As far as siezing mosques I would use the Southern Poverty Law Center game plan with the Klan. Namely that any terror attack that can be in any way connected to a mosque, that mosque and all its assets would be siezed by the US government and turned over to those who were affected by the attacks (even if they aren't US citizens) do that a few times and you might see some of the funding to terrorists drying up.
We also need to start think about how we can help the girls and women of islam. Many of these girls are suffering from horrific abuse but because of the insular nature of islam this often goes unreported. We are facing the same problem in southern Utah with certain fundamentalist morman sects. These morman sects have broken away from the main church and are forcing very young girls into multiple marriages to much older men.
I have an Uncle (a Catholic) who lives in that area and he says it is an open secret as to what is going on, but local police will not do anything about because they are overwhelmed by the problem and in many cases are related to those practicing the poligamy.
I feel that if we took these steps first to weed out the extremeists we could avoid the harsher measures you are talking about. Having those tougher options on hand though with everyone knowing what could happen would be a nice big stick to encourage a muslim reformation.
