"Did the media downplay the fact that al qaeda planned an assasination on the Veep?"

Well, bear in mind, Dick considers the use of a garage door opener within 2 kilometers to be an assassination attempt.

Great newsbusters story, also.

"The story turned out to be a lie - but the MSM didn't flog it before this became abundantly clear! BIAS!"

Yes, we all know the mark of a responsible journalist is to run a story on the front page "ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT!" and then quietly mention on E34 the next day that it never happened.

Dan's been so awful gosh-darn quiet about the Republican Debates. Surely, he'd be all over the wingnut-o-thon.

Where are the multitude of posts on the epic levels of Reagan-coddling, immigrant-bashing, evolution-denying, and staunch cries to finally after seven long years get around to catching Osama Bin Laden?

dan, what's your take on the Joe Anthony Barack Obama myspace dust-up, where essentially Obama's campaign hijacked the guys profile. JA apparantly worked on it for 2 1/2 years and built the profile up to 160,000 friends. I thought for sure you would do a post on it. There's a good summary of what happened if you haven't already read about it at Techpresident.com/node/301.

I hope like hell something blows up those phonies at the World Bank. Wolfowitz went through this so-called 'scandal' two years ago and it's just now coming out? I wonder if he'd gone in and gotten in bed with the rest of the liars and crooks if he'd be going through this now. Dumb question. We ought to pull out of the WB and do our own charity work. Screw them.

Good for Ethiopia for having the courage to call down China. I guess some leaders in developing countries cannot be bought. And just before the Olympics and all that government training to make the people stop spitting and hocking on the street. haha. "Shit. Wun Hung Woeisme, we have more face to save now."

Clever email from Lenin. Nothing new, but clever.

"I hope like hell something blows up those phonies at the World Bank."

Terrorist lover.

It might help Wolfowitz's non existant credibility if he didn't keep changing his story, first he did nothing wrong, then he made mistakes, then the ethics committee approved the pay raise and knew all about it, which they deny outright, now he 'had' to do it so his girlfriend wouldn't sue the WB and he's done nothing wrong. He might have been better off with the Alberto Gonzales "I don't recall" defense.

Here's a link for you. A documentary of men and women with bravery, skill, and integrity fighting to bring life and liberty to the free peoples of Iraq.

"American Reporter Steven Vincent and his translator Nour Al Khal were putting their lives on the line each day in Iraq to uncover the truth about sectarian violence. In August 2005 they were kidnapped by the very people they had been reporting on. Vincent was shot dead, becoming the first U.S. journalist murdered in Iraq."
...
"Now Vincent's widow, Lisa Ramaci, is doing everything she can to bring Nour to safety in the U.S."

that story has got to be 3 yrs old by now, where the hell have you been? not paying attention to the jihad, thats for sure

you should be educating yourself rather than trying to preach to people that know much more about whats going on over there than you obviously do

do you have any idea why they murdered him?

"It might help Wolfowitz's non existant credibility if he didn't keep changing his story..."

Bullshit. The only thing Wolfowitz is having to do is keep up with the constantly changing lies of the Ethics Committee.

He played it by the book from day one. Why don't you talk about how the WB 'created' 'rules' that were never written down?

Your sickness in desiring anything remotely couched by a Bush-association killed is beyond delusion. It's OCD.
