Natalee Holloway Search Resumed

Something of a jaw dropper for crime aficionados.

About 20 investigators arrived from the Netherlands on June 16, van der Biezen said. She said they also searched the home, but she could not say why. They left after a couple hours inside the walled property.

A statement from the prosecutors' office said: "The team has indications that justify a more thorough search."

Fox Birmingham has something up but not much more.

Sources tell FOX6 News that Aruban authorities have setup tents and brought in jackhammers to the Aruban home of Paul Van der Sloot.

I suppose it's possible someone finally opened their mouth. But the way this thing went when it was active it's hard to tell. Archives here.

This is the first time I have commented on this case, and it will be the last. But this comment by Mike turned my stomach.

What the hell is wrong with you? If what Mrs. Twitty went through isn't enough to drive someone to take drugs, I don't know what is. "...an embarassment to the human race." ? Go look in the mirror and say to your backwards image: "Just what is it that makes me unable to think?" I guarantee the image will laugh in your face.

Now that we face even a greater challenge, with even more sinister and dire consequences if a Hillary, an Edwards, or an Obama gets elected to the White House, here comes the Natalee Holloway media circus again to take the center stage once more!

I doubt there is any evidence of Natalee being at the Van Der Sloot home, Why would Paulus give Greta access to his property one week after Natalie went missing for an interview? Wouldn't he be afraid to let a reporter and a cameraman on his property if Natalee had been there?

If its true they jackhammered up part of the yard I would have to believe some kind of new information came to light, but given the Aruban's track record on this case, who knows. I can't see them finding any forensic evidence 2 years later other than a body and I doubt her body was burried in the back yard. I don't doubt that Joran may have kept some type of souvenir somewhere, though.
