Matters Of Life And Death

There are cultures of Life and cultures of death in the world, two stories today make that easy to see.

On the one hand you have radical Islamic cultures like that of the Iranian leadership where death is almost revered:

TEHRAN, April 18 — The Iranian Supreme Court has overturned the murder convictions of six members of a prestigious state militia who killed five people they considered “morally corrupt.”

Then there is the culture of Life, perhaps best represented in today's news by American conservatism, as a slight tilt in the Supreme Court allowed it to ban a barbaric process that ends in death.

WASHINGTON, April 18 — The Supreme Court reversed course on abortion on Wednesday, upholding the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act in a 5-to-4 decision that promises to reframe the abortion debate and define the young Roberts court.

Lost in the middle of all that, maybe with no real culture at all, is the shameless politicking of some of America's all too Liberal, or perhaps all too dumb, political classless class:

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) on Wednesday listed the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a ban on “partial birth abortions” along with the killing of 32 people at Virginia Tech, in describing what she called a hard and emotional week.

“I know this is a very hard and emotional week given everything that’s happened,” Boxer said at the opening of a speech on global warming in Washington, D.C. She then listed “continuing violence in Iraq … the accident that our good, dear friend Gov. Corzine is suffering from, the Virginia Tech tragedy … and today a Supreme Court decision that I believe endangers women’s health.”

We can at least be thankful that the men and women who gave birth to the wonder of America don't have to see what, in part, she has become.

Only a liberal moron like Boxer could decry war violence and random killings and, in the same breath, lament about a measure designed to spare innocent unborn children from a brutal and selfish act of murder.

Any 'fetus' requiring an 'intact dilation and extraction' (partial birth abortion) is, by definition, viable life. Only 2200 of these were performed last year. They are clearly acts of murder, and this specific procedure should be illegal...now it is. Any politician who cannot see the correctness of this ruling is clueless. Abortion is still legal, no woman's health is at stake. That is all a crock.

Unrestricted abortion is as illogical as unrestricted gun ownership. Yet the liberals demand the right to kill the unborn with no conditions. At the same time, they call us cons unreasonable for refusing to surrender all firearms to the authorities. They insist we compromise, but refuse to do so themselves. No principles. No integrity. Liberals suck.

“morally corrupt” is a double edge sword.

I declare Iran to be “morally corrupt”.

Hence that nation needs to be destroyed.

But the biggest reason to wipe out Iran is human stupidty Iran is displaying.

I decide what moral corrupt means and I get to decide what to do about it.

I like it. I really do.

BTW- Why are Persians using a decadant Western religion? Islam is an ARAB religion from the west.

Very un-persian for them to do that.

And that's another reason to get rid of them.
