These two were out on a date minding their own business when they were car jacked and this is what happened to them.

The animals pictured below raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her!

Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breast and put chemicals in her mouth … and then murdered her.

I've been wondering why none of the blogs picked up on this story. Though I am not sure the cutting off the penis and the breast is really true. Though the police reports confirm that BOTH the girl and the boy were raped and sodomized and that they poured household cleaner down her throat and other places to hide their DNA. And one of their 'girlfriends' was at the house during all of this mayhem. I also think they were killed the next day, not several days later.

Here, Dan, I agree 100%, the media refuses to cover this story because it makes blacks look bad. If this has been black college kids, kidnapped, gang raped, tortured and murdered by a group of whites, forget it. It would have been headlined by NYTimes for weeks.

MSM never reports black on white crime, you have to dig through DOJ statistics to find out the huge disparity between blacks attacking whites and vice versa.

This is a legitimate story, a legitimate example of political correctness gone crazy and it also has a strong public safety connotation. Shouldn't the public know exactly who is most likley to commit a crime like this?

Wingers problem is they assume that anyone who doesn't believe in the cons 'war on terror' is also to the left of Hillary Clinton on all issues.

It's also an example of how bad dialogue in this country has gotten, instead of trying to find out what if anything people may have in common on issues...like, say for example that I also don't think gun control will solve the crime problem or that I do think the media purposefully omits racial aspects to crime unless its a white person accused of a 'hate crime', all anyone does is try to destroy the individual with whom they disagree. Even if I disagree with you on 80% of the issues, if we start at the 20% of agreement and work outward, things might change, both sides might learn something.

nowinger I think you and I would also agree on many things. Its where we disagree that is the kicker we both hold very strong views on those issues. That being said this is being covered up by the media because it doesn't fit the msm agenda or world view. I wouldn't be suprised if it did make headlines to see more about the criminals poor life stories than about the victims.

The MSM believes that "America" is racist. So, if they publicize a story about blacks attacking whites, especially in a case like this where the actions were just sickening and savage, they fear that the racists in 'fly over' country will start rampaging and attacking innocent blacks. That's also why they no longer report the race of the victim or the perpetrator...too many white victims of non white perps. That is ALSO why the MSM loves stories about racist whites...they use those to teach the great unwashed masses a lesson, how bad racism is and hope this changes the hard hearts of racist white middle america. Exactly why Imus was fired. For the same reason, you will never see any NYTimes stories on illegal immigrants committing crimes, you ONLY see stories on how tough it is for them, living here illegaly, they're scared, etc. etc.

It's also part of the overall liberal mindset. They're soft on crime because they believe that everyone is redeemable, its why they're against the death penalty, everyone has good in him/her and we all started out good, it was only life/poverty/abuse/___ that caused criminal behavior.

I used to think this way. But, it finally dawned on me that some people..like these animals that turned a carjacking into a rape/torture/murder fest are beyond redemption in this life. Some evil is can't be excused. But we all draw different conclusions. There are definitely people that will look at this case and see four poor black kids with no futures, outcasts from society and they WILL feel sorry for them.

Hmm...I can't believe I missed this story, but I have been busy. This is just awful, and I cringe when I think about how this man, and especially this poor girl, suffered for days at the hands of these....people. What could possibly cause such hate? I have a clue, but I would like to see what other people think about this horrible crime. And someone was called a name, don't forget about how heinous a crime that was. You missed the story becuase it hasn't appeared anywhere outside of local Tennessee papers where it happened. Nowhere. No AP story that I know of.

You know exactly where this hate comes from. This wasn't something that happened at a party and got out of control. These two kids were on a DATE, sitting in their car. Instead of just killing them, they took them back to a house and tortured them and raped them both. Does anyone think this girl wasn't called a 'white bitch' during her ordeal? Anybody?

I am sick and tired of feeling as if I am under attack by a minority group of blacks who have openly declared war upon white people. These people were brought up this way on a steady diet of hip hop/gangsta rap, GTA, MTV fed garbage.

This is why I will do everything I can to have John Taylor Bowles placed on the ballet. I know that Bowles will not be elected, however, his name on the ballet will send a message to the (insert colourful metaphors) that are both our main political parties. It is amazing this hasn't gotten more play, but it's not like black on white crime never gets brought up (Central Park Wilding for instance) or that if you looked you couldn't find horrific white on black crimes that were under reported.

Actually, greek, there are not very many examples of white on black crime. Blacks usually commit more crimes against other blacks, and whites on other whites, but interacially, as a white, you are many times more likely to be attacked by blacks than blacks attacked by whites. The last FBI statistics I saw on this was in 2001, but I doubt much has changed statistically since then.

No doubt the aforementioned has had some knowledge of the tragedy, but I will confront them once again. In addition, I will ask the two 'revrents' when they intend to apologize to the Lacrosse players and their families. My bi-polar just kicked in again, folks; wish me luck that this action will create some attention.

This is really what my local news needs. They're obviously not pushing enough death and mayhem now, so if we can find a few more stories for them to cover of psychotic maniacs, I'm all for it. Maybe they can lay off all their reporters and just hire some glorified obit writers and arm them with cameras and go to 100% mayhem.
