Obviously Bush and the evil Dick Cheney have pressured German Chancellor Merkel into creating an elite fighting force to attack Blacks in America ... after blowing up the levee in New Orleans didn't work. Maybe Kanye West can get another song out of this one. Or is that flash in the pan all flashed out?
“You are in the Bronx. A black van is stopping in front of you. Three African-Americans are getting out and they are insulting your mother in the worst ways. … Act.”
That would be ”Afrikanische Amerikaners,” but I’m guessing that quote has been through the PC wringer and is not a direct translation. So what do they really call blacks in the German Army? ”Schwartzer,” “Heimjunger,” ”Gangsta Rap Leiderer” … anyone know? I’d like to know what the buckethead actually said.

Dan you idiot, they are just puppets (unless the goal is to get Bush impeaced, then he's an evil genius), it's all Rove's doing. You Cons are soooo dumb. (roll eyes).

Probably "schwartzes", i.e. "blacks"

Do you actually have a position or anything to say about this? After posting news reports about a campus shooting, I'm curious about where you draw the line between appropriate and inappropriate (symbolic) targets.

calling for yet more limits and rules regulating free speech, casey? how odd. i thought you guys were *for* all that stuff. you don't seem to have any problem with "piss christ"; or '50 cent's latest masterpiece of grunting and chanting. the phrase "drawing the line" is liberal code for "making something against the rules", last i checked.

No, I just find a certain kind of reflexive with us or against us perspective concerning race to be divisive at best. And I've asked for a response about it. Not sure what that has to do with limitnig speech.

BTW it's interesting that Andreas Serrano is mentioned, given his work with appropriateness. Have you seen his KKK portrait series?

so, casey, if liberals are all for free speech and all that, wrapping themselves in the sacred flag as they man the battlements for a pitched defense of "your right to say it", patrick henry-style....
why again did liberals drive imus from the airwaves?
Posted by: bloodrage bob | Monday, April 16, 2007 at 05:13 PM
Regardless if I am one or not, I can't speak for liberals, sorry. Anyways, I thought that Don Imus was pulled off the air because he lost corporate support, no?
Shouldn't free speech include protest against hate/hate-as-entertainment? And if Imus feels wronged, can't he file a lawsuit/file a grievance with AFTRA/claim that his free speech rights have been violated? Has any of this happened?

"So what do they really call blacks in the German Army?"
I listened to the video clip at David's Medienkritik. The instructor clearly says "schwartzer". He also uses several English expressions, such as "mother f*cker", which shows that it's not just McDonalds and Intel chips that we're exporting. My German is pretty rusty, though, so I suggest you ask Ray and for more details.
