Spart,
I was baiting Tom. The biggest fallacy in the world today is that all religions are correct - to their adherents, anyway. There can be only one god - if there is one. IF there is, then he made everyone if you believe in Adam and Eve. That makes us all brothers and sisters. Go to some of the Christian blogs and listen to the talk. It's enough to make you sick to hear some of the discourse about those humans of lesser gods.
Ironic that people will kill others who say their god is the right one. Will the real god please come forward and stop this mess?

Vicki Burns,
I liked your video but from your comments, I see it was not from
a pure heart. I will not email it to a friend as I was planing
to do. As christians we are not supposed to bash our president.
We are supposed to support our soldiers who are paying the high
price for our freedoms and to support our president who seems
to have all the demons in Hell against him.

Depends on who you talk to Phoenix, I don't think there's even one God but I'm sure there are still those that believe in multiple god's.

How about the God who killed Pat Tillman. That's a God with a sense of humor!
Posted by: Tom | Monday, April 09, 2007 at 02:07 PM
Do tell, Tom. Is there really more than one god? How in the world can that be?

What is it you have "sacrificed" really to stop the war?
Dan, maybe the better question is what have YOU really sacrificed in support of the war?

"Nothing that has happened in this war goes against anything the Church teaches."
Did the Catholics stop teaching the Ten Commandments again?

"By the way, your video was cheap and tawdry and way too long. Jesus would die again if he saw it"
This from some right-wing trailer-trailer trash 'lady'.

Ms. Burns,
"You must think very little of the gift of life that god gave us to think that it should be that eaasily spent."
Question: Is this the same god who made the radical Muslims who want to kill us?
By the way, your video was cheap and tawdry and way too long. Jesus would die again if he saw it.

"You can slip in via Lebanon and throw yourself infront of the first terrorist you see before he gets smoked by a Marine, sweety."
Haha, just saw that. More right wing fiction. Those borders have been left wide open for 4 years. Anyone can get in or out.
Oh, and well done going after the nice lady who made the Easter video. It takes vigilence to be a surge-supporter, doesn't it?

Stay the course, brave patriots.

Wow, Cindi would love to talk to you Vickie. She has told fascinating stories about interviewing veterans and high school students at the walmart where she works. Cindi is ahead of her time.

"Dear Cindy, I would GLADLY give up my so-called "better life" here in America, if I could save just one person that's died in Bush's war for oil."
Well, what are you waiting for? You can slip in via Lebanon and throw yourself infront of the first terrorist you see before he gets smoked by a Marine, sweety.
Don't forget to write. I hope it's a little more "real" than what you wrote here, which is obviously a line of BS. What is it you have "sacrificed" really to stop the war?
I'll wait. Don't wring your hands too tight while you're thinking.

hi Cindy. I'm the lady that made the Easter video above. I followed a link from my you.tube page... like to see who's watching. I stumbled upon your reply and had to answer you...

I didn't see a post from Dan stating he hated the Pope?
Zif and BIS, perhaps you should read up on your catechism. First off as a Catholic I am not required to even listen to what the Holy Father has to say unless it is ex cathedra. That is not to say that I don't pay attention in what is being said.
On the other hand, if either of you are Catholic then you would have to agree that the war on terrorism is a "Just War.". Nothing that has happened in this war goes against anything the Church teaches. You are blind if you believe it does. As a matter of fact, it justifies it more than not. Just cause. War is permissible only to confront "a real and certain danger," i.e., to protect innocent life, to preserve conditions necessary for decent human existence and to secure basic human rights. Regardless of WMD'S as you scream were not found. I doubt either of you would dare say that decent human existence was taking place in Iraq prior to our stepping in. One of the other conditions of going to war is that we make life better than before we arrived. Of course you will deny that is taking place in Iraq. Regardless of what you think, it is better.
Do either of you remember Joan of Arc?
Of course both of you see Dan's comment as hate towards the Pope. That is to be expected from folks like you. Those not giving a damn about their brothers and sisters in other parts of the world, let alone in your back yard, unless of course it's about termites.
Fuck the WMD, we are showing these people a better way of life. And yes, some if not many will die for that chance. When was the last time either of you woodpeckers stood up and really made a difference? Your only answer is to cut and run. Justify that if you can?
It is cafeteria catholics that give Catholism a bad name. Stop defending the "Pope", until you have a true understanding of what the Church has to say. It only makes you out to be an ass standing on grounds that you have no clue what it's even about.

Why do you hate the Pope, Dan?

Bush should threaten to don his flightsuit costume and liberate the Vatican. Damn evil-doers!

I never voted for the Pope for anything, least of all to set American policy. I'm not Catholic and a devout non-papist.

Yes, Pope BAD, Bush GOOD. You cons are priceless. Surge on, patriots!!

Is the Pope's last name 'Arnold'?

Happy Easter - from the Pope: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070408/ap_on_re_eu/vatican_easter
//"In the Middle East, besides some signs of hope in the dialogue between Israel and the Palestine Authority, nothing positive comes from Iraq, torn apart by continual slaughter as the civil population flees," Benedict told tens of thousands of faithful in St. Peter's Square.//
