I cannot believe they keep dragging this poor Joran boy into the media spotlight. It was proven this young man had no involvement in Natalee's disappearance, leave the guy alone. They held him in prison for 3 months, harrassed and forced him to move out of the country and are now bringing it back up as he is trying to get his life settled. I've never seen any proof that exonerated van der sloot from Natalee's disappearance. I've seen a self-confessed pathological liar continue to change his story as new evidence was uncovered to disprove his prior stories, who continues to change his story of what happened even today. Insufficient evidence is hardly proof of innocence. Many people will always believe van der sloot knows what happened to Natalee, I certainly do.

The most interesting part of the book is the revelation that the Van der Sloot family is claiming some video's. One tape of the Holiday Inn lobby where a girl is seen with the same clothes as Natalee had during her last night with Joran, same posture. That is May 30 around 3 o’clock, when Joran an the Kalpoes were interneting at home. Her father told the police "it could be her". Her mother told the police: "it's not her, Natalee has no breasts and has a bigger nose". And a video tape of the Windham Hotel jewelry shop of May 31, where a "Natalee look-a-like" is seen with some dude. They will probably compare the last video with a statement of a Valero gas station employee who has stated she is sure she saw Natalee in her shop on May 31 with a dude. She is sure she can recognize this dude.

There are tapes that ID Natalee at the Hotel and even in a jewelry store May 30th. This evidence has been ignored by the FBI, Aruban police and now the Dutch team.

Try to think clearly. That doesn't make sense.

What makes sense is that its NOT NATALEE on the videotapes. There were plenty of "Natalee" sightings all over Aruba,she was at the gas station, in the car w/the machette guy, at the bank....except she wasn't.

The Dutch and Aruban teams would have no reason to ignore evidence that Natalee was alive on May 31st. Joran van der Sloot has a significant reason to say this, because it would exonerate him.

Since he's a self identified pathological liar who admits in 2007 he still has a lying problem and lies when its convenient it isn't too hard to figure out who is more credible, Joran or the FBI/ALE/Dutch police.

Your lack of logic is astounding. She went back to the hotel and no one saw her, she went back to her room and got her suitcase and no one saw her, then she left the hotel again and no one saw her.

NO ONE SAW her because she WAS NOT THERE. The video is not Natalee, and don't bother parsing a single phrase made by a nervous teenager on national TV as being an admission that Natalee was back at the hotel because it doesn't wash. If there was proof she was back at the hotel it would have been shouted from the rooftops by the police and Joran.

What reason would they have to give inn their cellphones and camera's before leaving Aruba? They did! They gave it to her mom's sister!

(most probably: Natalee called her and for calling her she had to get back to the hotel / on her trip with Joran she did not have a cell). Furthermore if you are so sure it is not Natalee on the Holiday Inn video, you are more sure than her own dad, who saw the tape!

1. YES, they did give statements, many of their statements are available on the Internet. Many of their statements are what gives us a picture of Natalee drinking to excess and acting out of character.

2. Your premise rests on the idea that Beth Twitty doesn't want to know what happened to her daughter. Patently ridiculous. There is no reason on this Earth why she would ignore information that placed Natalee back at her hotel. That is more illogical fantasy to excuse van der sloot.

3. Again, if Natalee called Beth that night, why haven't the ALE made that public? For what reason would they have ever put the 3 suspects in jail? Is Beth Twitty secretly running the Aruban police? The actions that were taken by the Aruban police prove your theory is asinine. They've repeatedly said she was not back at the hotel, ever. Jorans LAWYWER has said the video 'might be' Natalee, that's his job, lie for his client. He also said maybe Natalee used her key card when his own client's statements show it was impossible for her to use the keycard since she was still in the car with the 3 suspects.

4. The Arubans told Beth that Natalee was probably out on a bender, they didnt' take the case seriously for almost a week. What mother wouldn't rather believe her daughter was just acting out of character than that she was DEAD, never to be recovered even for a decent burial??? Natalee's family ignored evidence that Natalee was dead for the first few weeks, to go back and now use their hope that she was alive as evidence the knew all along she was alive is sickening and perverted. The woman walked all across the island giving out Natalee's picture and bracelets and I am supposed to believe she knew all alone Natalee ran away. Bullshit.

1) Joran's attorney, Antonio Carlo, had a private, off-the-record meeting with
prosecutor Karen Janssen. Carlo wanted to clear his conscience and told Janssen : "My client Joran VDS played a MAJOR ROLE in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway."
