I was pondering this "Ishmeal Axe" thing.... Seung Hui Cho spelled it in one way on the package, and in another on his arm.... I read a couple of different theories, so I will buy a bible and read up. Right now...I am going to believe it is a bible reference, since his parents are Christian, and since Seung Hui did attend bible study classes. I think maybe he had a bible study class, or something like that, at Virginia Tech.
Anyone that says this kid should be forgotten is half right. We can forget things, but we need to learn from them first. We need to learn from this tragic thing and make our mental health care more comprehensive and sensitive to the needs of people in trouble. I dont know if I totally agree about the part about Seung seeing himself as the Ishmael in the bible, as a wild ass of a man, since of course Seung was always quiet. Maybe he WANTED to be...talkative. But his personality and some mental condition prevented it
