North American Trading Union people threatening folks with seizure of their land for that damned NAFTA Superhighway along I-35 if they don't take their offers there isn't much love for the NeoCons around here. But few remember how many people were being killed prior to the war not just by overt action by Hussein, but by the criminal misuse of OFF money. I distinctly recall a heavy push to END sanctions prior to 9-11, and NOBODY disagreed that Saddam was ready to restart his WMD program once sanctions were lifted. But after the war started, they were too happy to assert "sactions were working".

So if that is the case, what is the left's position now? Which is it?
