702-737-8683March 8,
We, the undersigned, appreciate the efforts State Democratic Party Chairman Tom Collins has made to address concerns regarding the August presidential debate in Reno, NV. We believe the latest proposal is reasonable and addresses most of the concerns raised by MOVEON and others.
Not all of us originally supported the idea of working with FOX, but many of us did because we know that a significant number of Nevadans - including Democrats - watch the network, and we want to use the opportunity of our early caucus to reach out to those viewers.
We all want to work together to unify our party, move forward and address the pressing issues that all Nevadans and Americans grapple with each and every day. Ultimately, that's the reason why we are all Democrats and why we care so passionately about the Nevada caucus.
We look forward to the August debate, when the Democratic presidential candidates will have the opportunity to reach out to voters in Northern Nevada and throughout the West as we focus on Western issues.
We pledge to do everything we can to ensure this debate is a success.
Sincerely,
Chris Wicker, Washoe County Democratic Chairman

Sadly if the GOP paid half the attention to their polling numbers the Democrats wouldn't be in power right now and the border problem would have been fixed a long time ago.

It's true buzzy, remember when Bob Novak said that Republicans need to get back to their Conservative base if they want to win in '08. Pretty much all pundits agreed, and all politicians told him to shut up.
It seems that the GOP is heeding the advice finally, I hope to see all these RINOs like Olympia Snowe, Arlen Specter, more and more Norm Coleman, and the others out, replaced with real Republicans, like Joe Lieberman. Of course, I would rather see 4 or 5 liberal Republicans in the majority, than none in the minority, but there are plenty out there who disagree with me on that.
The GOP doesn't like poll numbers, I don't know why, it seems like since Bush said he doesn't care no one else does (which is fine when you are POTUS). Anyway, I think there is a reason why every GOP member has just gotten the Ronald Reagan gene.
Likewise, the Neveda Democrat party decided to get the MOVEON.org gene and play to the very fringe left. Kudos to Kucinich, he plays to the truthers, but for once he seems to have his head on straight... but you think the DNC cares about Kucinich? I mean, IT'S DENNIS KUCINICH, the guy doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

Jeff,
What's funny is that Kucinich, who doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell and everyone knows it, may be the perfect 'little guy' to mirror the big guys in his gang. Nothing like the runt of the litter to step forth with amazing eloquence and shame his mates with their cowardice. It might sound like Disney psychology, but it works sometimes.

Zif, if you knew how stupid what they did was you'd be crying. As you're too mentally ill, I'll just celebrate the left's "victory" and laugh at you some more.
