Update 3/21: de Villis was once suspected of sock puppetry, too.
Instapundit links to this post continuing to ask who is behind ParkRidge47 that made this video. I'd suggest asking Arianna Huffington. BTW Hillary was born in Park Ridge in 1947. Hollywood types do have a thing about age. ; )
Josh Marshall posted the video at 4:05 PM on the 5th and leaves two clues:
Okay, I got no dog in this fight. But I thought this was clever. So I'll pass it along.
(ed.note: I've been assured that the creators are not connected to the Obama campaign.)
In my opinion, the fight he means isn't between Hillary and Obama. In an email from ParkRidge47:
A friend suggested the idea after reading a New York Times article about the Clinton's campaign bullying of donors and political operatives after the Geffen dustup.
Here's Arianna on the Clinton/Geffen dust up:
It didn't take long for Clinton Inc to prove him right. Not long after Dowd's column hit the streets, "that machine" whirred into high gear with Clinton Communications director Howard Wolfson firing off a press release condemning Geffen and urging Obama to denounce him:
HuffPo actually posted the video first at 3PM on March 5th. I checked their news wire and for some reason it uses Eastern Time, as does TPM. But they somewhat made it look as though it first appeared at TPM. They had to of either made a draft at 3PM and published it publicly later with the link, or updated with the link after TPM posted. The time sequence doesn't work any other way. This blogger claims to have spotted it first at HuffPo.
First spotted over at Huff-Po.
According to Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo, the video was made by a Barack Obama supporter and not a member of his campaign.
I don't think HuffPo just happened to pick it up off YouTube and then ParkRidge47 just happened to email Marshall after the 2nd linkage to say he/she wasn't with the campaign. I think HuffPo tipped TPM to the vid at YouTube giving assurance to TPM it was not a campaign creation so he knew he wasn't being scammed by paid pros.
Arianna, Geffen, Hollywood vs. the Clintons? Yeah, some amateurs that lot.

Whoever did it did it right and the Hillary camp had to feel it right in the gut. Left me wondering though if the Dem Zombie types voted conservative when they snapped out of their trance.

That's not a trance, its more a persistent vegetative state.

Holy shit! That made my heart thump. Just like the first time the ad came out.
That was fantastic! Who cares where it came from - it's there.

I know it is not in the nature of the right wing to admit to mistakes, but will you post an update now that the truth has been revealed? I doubt it....

post an update now that the truth has been revealed?
Send me an email, I'm unaware of it being revealed. Can't follow every blog meme.
