Some local Muslims are urging people to boycott advertisers of WBT's "Jeff Katz Show," saying the conservative radio talker insults their religion with "hate-filled" comments on the air.

At a Wednesday news conference, Jibril Hough of the Charlotte-based Islamic Political Party of America charged that Katz speaks mockingly about Muslims and showcases only critics of Islam on his 3-6 p.m. show at 1110 AM.

Anyways. This is typical CAIR stuff, their goal is to entirely stifle debate, and make sure that Muslims can choose the language of debate if it does occur. Dhimmi, is off-topic, as is affiliating Muslims to terrorism, but it is fine to affiliate Christians to the Crusades (which were mostly done a millenia ago (I know it continued after that a little)). CAIR, and people dreaming of America becoming a Muslim state under Shari'a law are well under way, they have made many things taboo, and we are afraid of saying somethings, because we don't want to get our heads chopped off (which I am not technically allowed to say in a debate with a Muslim). Muslims want to remind us that it is a tiny minority (about 3%) that are willing killing for the Religion of Piece (sp intentional).
I can tell you that I love New Hampshire's motto: "Live free or die." And I would die to stop Shari'a law, or the cause of Islam overwriting my freedoms. However I fear that less and less people share this sentiment, and with school teaching unquestioning tolerance, I fear furthur that our next generation will not stop their rights from being tampled for the cause of "to not offend."

I guess I should ask: If Muslims were rioting in the street en masse (50% or more) what actions should the government take?

I would really be interested in both sides.

Ann Coulter says we have to round up all the ragheads and Michelle Malkin says internment camps are the only things that will keep airliners from crashing into you while you're checking the mail. I think you are wrong about that. The American public has now been conditioned to think that Arab/Muslim=Terrorist. They've been told over and over that there are terrorist cells all over the country and that the Muslims want to attack us 'over here' any chance they get. Just look at this blog and what these nuts write about the arabs.

As far as the powers that be knowing it's all a scam, maybe yes maybe no. I suspect that when Nazi Germany first started scapegoating the jews, most in the upper echelons saw it for what it was, scapegoating, fear mongering and later a way to get a lot of land and money for no cost. But, eventually the public lie of the jews destroying the country became a private truth and the Nazi elites themselves began to believe their own lies.

This is what I see happening in this country with the muslims.

I think we ought to keep a VERY watchful eye on the Muslims. Their own "holy Koran" stipulates that they are to wage warfare (terrorist or outright war) on non-muslims (kuffar/infidels) until they are made to feel subdued, and pay the Jizyah tax. Or killed.

In case you missed it, their own SCRIPTURES command them to overthrow any non-muslim governments.

In my opinion, Islam no longer has a definition as a religion, but as an enemy ideology... until the Muslims prove otherwise by castigating and excommunicating their jihadist brethren.

Until then, my judgment is that Islam no longer deserves the constitutional protection given to other faiths per freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, and freedom of the press, and should be suppressed with rigor.

We _seriously_ need to revive COINTELPRO or something similar to it to infiltrate and shut down groups like CAIR, the ACLU, and other front groups for Islamists.

And if (as Jeff asked) a city with a significant Muslim population began rioting and looting, then the government has a constitutional right to put that rebellion down with lethal force - perhaps even to the point of calling on the militias (both organized and unorganized).

Since there is a significant enemy alien population of Muslims (note that I do not limit this to Arabs or Persians specifically) ... it could also fall under the constitutional definitions of using the militia to repel a foreign invasion.

An internment policy may indeed be more than appropriate.
