Is Gore Buying Rules Offsets, Too?
via the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works:
From behind the scenes on Capitol Hill: Former Vice President Al Gore, despite being given major preferential treatment, has violated the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee’s (EPW) hearing rules.
Gore demanded and was granted an unprecedented 30 minute opening statement and was also given a waiver on the testimony submission rule. Instead of the usual 48 hrs. prior to the hearing, Gore was supposed to submit his testimony only 24 hrs. ahead of time. He has now failed to live up to that responsibility, as well.
Word is his testimony will not be available until just prior to the hearing. What could our illustrious climate commander in chief be afraid of? Or maybe a copy of his testimony simply instantaneously combusted, what with the heat and all.
It appears that Gore does not believe the same rules apply to him that apply to every other Senate EPW witness.
The question looms on Capitol Hill: Is Gore delaying the submission of his testimony until the very last moment because he fears it will give members of the EPW committee time to scrutinize it for accuracy?
Stay tuned…

AlGore is the perfect example of an elitist snob. Rules are for everyone but he's not even trying anymore is he? I think he just does this stuff to show everyone he's better than everyone else.

He is an Obscure Aristocrat.
Didn't he, at one point, give a whole 400 bucks to charity, while Bush gave thousands?
Guess he had trouble meeting his fossil fuel bill that year.

I saw this flashed on Drudge, and wondered, "so is the 'most honest Congress ever' going to allow this," my guess is that they didn't only allow it, but sanctioned it.

Gore is late with his homework yet again.
Something tells me he feels a little insulted to have to go before such a lowly organization such as Congress. He's much bigger than that, he hangs with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Inhofe can rant and rave all he wants. Maybe he didn't get the memo, but the global warming deniers lost the elections back in November. This is what the irrelevant are reduced to. Get used to it, cons.

Newsflash, AlGore refuses to allow any dissent to his message that the sky is falling, the sky is falling. Free speech removed from the constitution by AlGore and his One World Government. Demofascists declare bill of rights null and void.

"Demofascists declare bill of rights null and void."
I thought the 'Patriot' Act did that??

Record Sized Fossil Found
HASBINISTAN – June 12, 25435
In what has been hailed as the greatest archaeological find since the uncovering of the White House, an expedition from the University of Tehran has discovered the fossilized imprint of the largest carbon footprint ever located. The carbon footprint, found in a remote region of Hasbinistan that was formerly known as Carthage Tennessee, is believed to belong to the species Allagorus Globalwarmus. Professor Mahmoud Achtungitzjihad, who led the project, said of the find, “this is by far the most fascinating discovery in my career. The span of this footprint by far exceeds anything we’ve ever seen and it is so well preserved thanks to the large base of zinc deposits that cover the area.”
Prior to the Allagorus fossil, the largest carbon footprint specimen had also been located in Hasbinistan in an area east of the Carthage site known the Raleigh site. At that dig, a huge carbon footprint recorded the nesting place of the Breckus Girlus species. Together, both the Breckus Girlus and the Allagorus Globalwarmus are believed to have brought about the demise of the Western Imperialist Dynasty by consuming vast quantities of resources. "These two literally sucked the life out of this entire vast region until it eventually withered and died", Actungitzjihad said.

Congratulations, Kilroy. And, Telly, your fellows who visit here say the election was about the war and you say it was about global warming. What is one to believe? "You wingers lost the election because (place pet issue here)."

There are more odd conspiracy theories about the future in the leftosphere than I can ever remember seeing in the extreme fringe Christian kooks.
Kooks.

At that dig, a huge carbon footprint recorded the nesting place of the Breckus Girlus species and an odd little sign that said, "Kilroy was here".

Gore goes against the rules-blatantly-and the left is ok with that. That's par for fascist left. Rules are for the peasants, not them.
