Don't bother looking for it via Google News. There hasn't been a single major story published on him since Charles Rust-Tierney appeared in Court. A local source sent me this, which Google either didn't get, or hasn't gotten, yet.
Alexandria, Va. (WUSA) -- A public defender from Arlington now finds that he is the accused. Fifty-one year old Charles Rust-Tierney appeared in United States District Court in Alexandria Wednesday.
He’s accused of receiving and possessing child pornography, and investigators outlined what they say they found after searching his home.
They say Rust-Tierney had video showing, among other things, the sexual torture of infants and toddlers. The judge said she’d never heard of child pornography that vile and said because of that, Rust-Tierney would stay behind bars until his trial.
Rust-Tierney is a father himself and also a coach of Arlington-area youth little league and soccer teams. In court, dozens of his friends and family members voiced support for him. They say they have never suspected him of improper contact with kids.
More from O'Reilly at Human Events. He focuses on the media suppression angle.
One of the images Tierney was in possession of showed a little girl tied up and screaming while being violently raped.

He probably got the stuff from Romero ;-> That guy is creepy.

Wait, this Operation Predator?
"Yet another pedophile in power, this one pleading no contest today for fondling himself in front of a minor. Figueroa also happened to be the highest officer involved with Operation Predator, the Homeland Security Program specifically mandated to go after child predators."

The Department of Homeland Security run by "the deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security [who] was arrested Tuesday for using the Internet to seduce what he thought was a teenage girl, authorities said.
Brian J. Doyle, 55, was arrested in Maryland where he lives on charges of use of a computer to seduce a child and transmission of harmful material to a minor. The charges were issued out of Polk County, Fla."

Good thing they caught this guy at the ACLU. Just proving that it really does take one to know one.

yeah and you could even read about it in the newspaper - imagine that. Thanks for proving my point dunce!

'dunce!'.. :)
You could save yourself the trouble of writing, Dan, by just throwing up a few 'flammable' words and your current gang of resident libs would fill up a thread with blame-Bush talking points, you-cons-are-assholes comments, and all kinds of past history that goes absolutely nowhere in a debate about the present.
Three comments into any thread and your post subject is long gone for the opportunity to bash pussies by the carnivores who eat them.
oh, I think I'm drooling...

I mean, the point that really bothers me isn't that it wasn't covered by the media, its the nature of the crime. It's disgusting.
In an unrelated story (that has been covered by the media, somewhat. The trial of John Couey started, and that guy is sick as they come, I hope that he gets the death penalty. Some people think that the death penalty is the easy way out, but in reader a letter by Fyodor Dostoevsky to his brother, Dostoevsky said that before he was supposed to get executed, he would have stood on a 2x2 peice of land in space for eternity, if not to die. Which affirms my belief in the death penalty. What I am trying to get to is, that the death penalty isn't an easy way out, but the toughest, and I wish that violent pedophiles deserves the worst penalty.
This is the wikipedia entry on the man and his crime. I watched parts of his court appearance, and the girl's father's reaction, and it was gut wrenching.

This ACLU guy disgusts, and I'm sure he will get taken care of in prison... Too bad the media isn't covering it, but life in prison isn't enough for him.

Maybe the Amanda Marcotte thing just left the media with a little liberal rang-on burnout. Or maybe no one gives a damn about the ACLU now that they've been completely marginalized for the last 10 years. Besides, Anna Nicole Smith just got buried! Britney Spears shaved her hair! Bradjalena just adopted a backer's dozen! Who has the time to cover anything else?

Jeff,
Your comment immediately made me think of "The Gulag Archipelago". Solzhenitsyn made the case for isolation decimating a man's sanity. Many of his fellow prisoners willed themselves to die rather than face the dehumanization of their imprisonment.
Psychological testing has shown that shunning is the worst form of punishment. But, I'll add that it only works on a sane person capable of feeling guilt, shame. I don't think Couey has the ability to feel guilt much less shame. But 24/7 isolation might be worse than death for this creature.

ABC news has picked up the story. Also a local NBC affiliate. Washington Times got it.
Boston Herald.
The really cool thing though - a regular google search of "Charles Rust-Tierney" kicks out Riehl World View's FEB 24th story.
On top! WTG

Jeff's right. The fact that the media isn't paying attention is secondary. What matters it the vileness of this man and of the crimes he committed. What a disgusting excuse for a human being.
To the gallows with him.

How about this: Let him free in the town where the little girl's father lives and let the hunt begin. Just the two of them.
As for Dan coming out on Google - don't think the news media doesn't have a cadre of geeks reading blogs twenty-four hours a day. It's happened too often that top blogs have a story before the MSM, and they know it. Yay, Dan!

If you want to get into sick infant rape porn and have liberals in the media help you to get away with it, work for the ACLU.
If you want to plagiarize out of ineptness and feel good about yourself while scoring adulation from impressionable rich kids, do like Ward Churchill did and join an English department at any university.
If you want to own four gigantic homes, burn as much coal as you can possibly burn to keep your 40 inch plasma screens running 24 hours a day, fly across the country every day to hang out with Leo and other hip celebs who worship you, claim you are buying "carbon offsets" which are really nothing more than promises to plant trees.
We can come up with more instances of the liberal elite living by different standards than the rest of society...

Is it possible that a personal enemy sent him email that he never bothered checking and then dropped a dime on him ?
I haven't checked every attachment in every email I ever received.
