So much for compassion. It's always the money in the end.

"One might wonder though, do those employees really need their pensions when, every day, people in Africa are dying of AIDS?"
Quote of the day! Typical lib stuff... of course they know how to spend your money better than you ever would... so they will just take it off your hands.
So this week I have learned that Bono, and the Goracle are both making obscene amounts of money with their "liberel compassion and total selflessness." Well I guess if you count George Soros crashing entire countries economies so he can pick good stocks and bonds at junk prices... and Big Ketchup Kerry using the Cayman Island... Whitewater...
Wow, liberal compassion pays.
Breaking news: I am now a liberal. My charity is called product: blue. The goal is to take money from red, and give it to blue. Say bye bye to any change at retirement Rethugs!

Jeff, don't confuse them with facts.

I find this disgusting because she continues the obscene practice of referring to the President as "the Commander-in-Chief". Unless this phrase is followed by "of the Army and Navy" as in the Constitution, it smacks of military dictatorship and shouldn't be used by anyone who isn't in uniform.

OK Scar, you can call John "Jack" Murtha commander in chief if that's what you are get to... So if Hillary Clinton is President would you switch back to commander in chief?

Is there a hidden magneto-brain-thought-diversion field on the left side of this blog, Dan?
No one can stay on topic. It's amazing.

Oh. On topic. I got messed up as I read "Bono sucks Oprah" when I first read. It threw me off when I missed the comma.
I think Geldof was the last of the altruists. Sad, too, as he tried very hard.
Oprah's school is great. If you're going to change a society for the good, you have to change the women first. I hope her school works and matriculates warrior women who tell those stupid men they've had enough oppression to last twenty lifetimes and leave my clit alone.

That's sad, I actually thought that maybe Bono was for real and wasn't playing the usual scam charity act.

I can't fucking beleive the I had to be fucking exposed to the word "fuck" when I clicked on the fucking link about fucking Bono.

Of course, if anyone cared to read more than the loony right wing spin put on this "story," one would learn that Bono doesn't actually run Elevation, and exercises little to no control over its operations. But that's a minor detail for reactionary wingnuts to consider.
One would also learn, if one had a brain cell in its head, that Elevation and Red are entirely unrelated ventures, and that the fact Red isn't making money has fuck all to do with Elevation or the alleged Forbes 401-k "scandal."

It's the thought that counts.
