Sweetness! Lets blow those Islamic terrorists into tiny bits.

Where is the Holy Handgrenade when you need it?

And the leftards will freak out (saying that we should not be doing this- yawn)... NOW!

"Do what must be done Lord Vader,do not hesitate, show no mercy"

Sounds like they think they have someone important. Good. And, Jeff, you know that those to the left of you have consistently and vocally supported escalated activity in Afgahnistan, and have since the begining of operations there. So. Kindly. Cut the crap.

The Left was screaming quagmire in Afganistan before Iraq.

"The Left was screaming quagmire in Afganistan before Iraq."

Nope. That's a lie. "The left" has consitently argued for an escalated presence in Afghanisan.

There was one person who didn't vote for the invasion of Afghanistan. A Republican. I mean Democrat.

Nope. The left was for leaving Afghanistan, then Iraq came, and they wanted to stay, now they are agnostic about it. I remember right after Dick Cheney's failed assassination attempt, posts at the Daily Kos, and the Democrat(ic) Underground, went crazy with, Afghanistan is a quagmire, we must leave. Go check, you are a researcher for a lawyer, you know how this works.

"I was for it, before I was against it, now I'm not sure."

This was why Cheney made a visit to Musharraf. It had to look as if Musharraf had nothing to do with this. All this stuff is planned to keep Musharraf in power because sooner or later our forces will slide across the border to meet up where the CIA have been conducting their clandestine work.

It's all about playing to the public of any leader's domain.

Cheney I am sure had a few choice words for Musharraff."I hope I don't have to leave a garrison".

I think you have it about right, Phoenix and Darth. Looks like the good old Nixon-Kissinger-good-cop-bad-cop routine to me.
