Unfortunately, it's often difficult to trust initial reports out of Iraq, hopefully this will firm up.
BAGHDAD (AP) -- The leader of the al-Qaida-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq has been captured in a raid west of Baghdad, an Iraqi military spokesman said Friday.
Plenty to see on this guy.
Abu Omar al-Baghdadi made his grand entrance onto the jihadist stage on October 12, 2006, and since then he's delivered two very important speeches — the more recent one came out last week — and has taken credit for much of the spectacular outbreaks of violence in Iraq of late, yet he still can't get his name in print on the pages of the New York Times. Why are the editors and reporters of that paper not telling their readers anything about Iraq's top terrorist?
Obviously, this is a nice grab, if it's real.

Wow, to hear it from you guys, the war is won, everyone has been captured and the locals are throwing rose petals at the US troops. Fairy tales...

Sour grapes, eh Bob?
Let's get him to Gitmo so we can water board him and figure out how to stop American troops from dying. Oh wait, the dems don't want that. Never mind. Catch 'n release?
Nice to see the surge is on. 80% less attacks, and we have caught a few big fish in the past weeks, this is a WHALE. Cudos to the Army, Gen. Petraeus, our the Commander-in-Chief, President Geoerge W. Bush, for allowing all of this to happen.
Nice to see more successes in Iraq! I feel bad for people like Nancy Pelosi right now, they were so invested in defeat. Right Bob?
You just wish it was an American being captured by the AQ.

According to a Justice Department affidavit filed in the U.S. District Court of Connecticut, Shareef and Hassan Abujihaad, who also goes by the name Paul Hall, were roommates in Phoenix in 2004." DKK

Maybe the Iranians gave him up in such a way as to take attention away from their defector. I like how Isreal and CIA are pretending they don't know where he is. Heh.

More good news from Iraq. Hear the lefty pigs squeal. Music to my ears.
Don't worry America haters, just keep telling yourself it isn't actually good news. Brainwash yourselves into believing like you always do. :)

CNN is covering it! It has to be true now, because they would not publish any good news from Iraq unless they had it 12x confirmed... but news doesn't need any confirmation; right Capt. Jamil Hussein, the man who saw flaming men run around the town square.
