If you haven't heard it, yet - go over to lgf and listen to them preaching jihad and death to Israel ... at UC Irvine. And they basically praise terrorists in the Middle East in the process.
They have no future. And it’s just a matter of time before the state of Israel will be wiped off the face of the earth.
[Crowd: Takbir! Allahu akbar!]
Justice will be restored then. Those people who are there legitimately ... the people there will, will rule. There will be no injustice any more there.
So just keep on doing what we’re doing. Our weapon, our jihad, our way of struggling in this country is with our tongues. We speak out, and we deflate their morale, and this is the best we can do right now. And our brothers and sisters on the other side of the world, they’re handling business in their own way. May Allah give them strength ... [inaudible]
[Crowd: Takbir! Allahu akbar!]
Okay, so where are all the hate speech types now? What, should they be sent to sensitivity training?
Good Lord, if this stuff takes hold here we'll be looking more like the worst of the Middle East in no time at all. If these idiots are students, they need to be expelled. And if they are here on student visas, they need to be deported.

Stuff like this makes me agree with Newt Gingrich more and more. I am speaking of when he said adjustments may need to be made to free speech laws. What do we allow next? Would, "brothers, we must emark in a jihaad against America" be acceptable? The practical answer is no, the legal answer would be a yes.
Of course Mr. Riehl is dead on that they need to be expelled and/or deported (can we deport citizens, if they were citizens? Just this one time... we could send them to France ;) ) But if they were deported I could see mass demonstrations taking place... the libs would never let anyone who preaches jihaad against the innocent face justice, while at the same time calling President Bush "Hitler." Kind of backwards logic...

College students talking smack at a protest.
Imagine that.

Yeah, Dan, college students supporting jihad, the elimination of Israel, and the death of US servicemen. Gee, Dan, what are you, some kind of spoil sport, trying to ruin their good, clean fun? Didn't you know these guys are all members of the "Religion of Peace."

Dan:
Were there any "foreign" students at the Bible College you attended?

What difference does that make, LA, and why don't you answer my question on the thread on global warming?

Dan: Roger Simon has a longer version of this video at his site. At approximately 4:40, Daniel Pipes says that the Palestinians must have their collective will crushed and go through a crucible of fire, experiencing war and loss (very loose paraphrase). It becomes a bit more apparent what set the students off.
Please take a look at it and tell me what you think.

"tell me what you think"
Well, you're likely to not hear me but I'll address it. Pipes went through different scenarios for peace. Yes, he said basically what you wrote. It may be true. But the point I feel you are missing is that he is talking about how to get to a two state solution. If the Palestinians stopped waging more tomorrow, his scenario wouldn't be necessary. What is it you propose? Unless or until Palestine accepts Israel, there will be a war of some degree.
His scenario is not calling for Palestine to be wiped out, only for them to stop the violence. That is not what the protesters are advocating for Israel. They are calling for its destruction.

Funny, who are quoting as "foreign"? Dan never said it.
And this isn't about foreign people at all. It is about people calling for the destruction of Israel. Your "argument" is irrational, Dan never even mentioned race or religion in his article... you simply understood it, which proves that libs can't even believe their own arguments... they know that the "Religion of Peace" isn't all that peaceful (maybe pieceful?)... The "Liberal Avenenger" knew that this hate speech was done by "foreigners" without even hearing it...
I go to a very liberal school, so it doesn't really bother me when libs put words in my mouth (their type likes doing that). Some people don't even realize it, but I do, and I call them on it... Generally the best way to destroy liberal lies is by exposing them... (but you conservatives out there are highly developped and knew that already... :D)
Furthurmore their arguments are very weak so they resort to the aforementioned tactic... But if you were always wrong, wouldn't you do whatever you had to in order to win an argument?

Hey cons, did any of you 'patriots' get a look at this?? How sad- especially that it was linked by your Log-Cabin hero, Matt Drudge.
Don't spam threads, Carl. Post links once.

Dan, thanks. I'm happy with what you wrote. I didn't quite understand the distinctions Pipes was making. Appreciate the elucidation.

No problem, Lesley. I forgot to comment on this:
"more apparent what set the students off"
Yes, I noticed that, too. But watch it again, including the outsdie footage at lgf. What's very clear is that this was a pre-planned effort by the group. So while they did indeed choose that moment to begin their protest, it was coming one way or another. Both videos make that very clear. BTW - Thanks for coming by and commenting so thoughtfully.

Hee hee, Dan. Perhaps I should have let you know from the get-go that I'm a big fan of yours Judging by some of the comments you get, I can see how you might have taken my inquiry as "INCOMING. HOSTILE." I agree with you, those kids came with an agenda. What saddened me was, once they cleared the room, how few people were actually at the lecture. Too bad. Daniel Pipes is certainly someone to whom it is worth listening. (Because Pipes is so soft spoken, I completely missed the if/then correlation he was drawing. Again, thanks).
