As in Jim Talent, former Senator from MO. Interesting, they say organizations win football championships - Romney looks to be building just that. Time will tell how it plays out, Talent is a smart guy. Still, score this one as Romney's first gaffe.
Read down to the many Washington insiders line. Given everything I've seen from Washington insiders lately, especially on the Republican side, I'm far from impressed. I can't recall a time when DC insiders have seemed more out of touch with the country. I was thinking about this yesterday after reading this post at Instapundit.
I was wondering if it didn't make more sense to throw in with the Dems to try and moderate them, as opposed to staying with a DC GOP I find less and less attractive each day - precisely because of the so-called DC insiders. Conservatives have pretty much had their fill of the Lott! ; )
Former Sen. Jim Talent (R-Mo.) will become an adviser for the presidential campaign of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Talent was swept out of Washington in the Democratic wave in November and he will serve as oversee "all domestic policy development" for Romney, the campaign said.
"Governor Romney has shown extraordinary leadership during his many years of service," said Talent. "He has a strong conservative vision and a successful record of accomplishing that vision."
Talent is the latest addition to a team that already includes many Washington insiders.
"Today, our country faces great challenges," Romney said. "With Jim's experience and extensive knowledge, he will help us look beyond the status quo and answer these challenges with bold, new approaches."

Interesting. So is Talent a Scientologist too? Also, give Trent a break, his house got blown away (be sure to cap insurance payments unless it applies to me) and his hero Strom dropped dead.

"Talent is a smart guy."
*snicker*
Yeah, I saw him playing chess with Macaca Allen outside the unemployment office the other day. Truly impressive...

What's to spin, there's nothing there that isn't already known? It's crunch time, but the game isn't over. That only worries libs because they always quit when things get tough. We don't.

'because of the so-called DC insiders.' Well, be careful what you wish for......Yes, theyr'e all interested in America.
Joe at 'Moderate Voice' has this neat article on Natives, but then he wrote about Hillary's 'conversations' and how dems are going to buy this.
He immediately cut off comments.
Hillary is going to do to dems what Bill and James did to repubs or neos or whatever they changed them to. Joe has broken with reality.
Jim really isn't that smart. Bond, Kit Bond, now there is a smart guy! It's neat how all this Peace stuff is happening, wer'e ackowledging the war is civil and all the other stuff.
The guy who gave the Congressional Gold Medal to Spain, he's even smarter than Hillary's James Carvelle.

Except the fact that the Report, which you didn't read, states that the surge is a bad idea and that it will not work, and that it is dubious at best that Iran has anything to do with what's going on - strange that you missed those salient points.

The NIE states that conditions would have to improve in Iraq for it to be considered a civil war. What a colossal clusterfuck you idiot cons have on your hands. Complete the mission and stay the course, asshats.
