SURGE! Someone remind me if we're "turning the corner," or "marching toward victory" this week.

Late breaking news, Dan. "Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki complained Tuesday the long-awaited Baghdad security operation was off to a slow start and warned that insurgents are taking advantage of the delay to kill as many people as possible." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17013571/
Is this guy really complaining about American efforts? Why doesn't he get off his dead ass and on his dying feet. If, as Truman said about Nicaragua's Somoza, it's about 'our SOB" as opposed to another, we've apparently purchased ours at a discount store and it's of low quality. Isn't there a better one? And I do NOT mean Chalabi, either.

Problem is Bill, I honestly don't think we bought him - which is part of the problem. But I also know he has to play a game at home and away. SO I'm willing to be patient for now. But, honestly not for long. You haven't been around here a long time, but I have had plenty of criticism for Bush and Rumsfeld on the war.
