Obama has the crazy stupid liberals on a lease... Hillary has the brainwashed liberals...

Giuliani has anyone with an IQ over 86

"Giuliani has anyone with an IQ over 86"

Can somebody explain to me what, exactly, this guy has done? Because stand atop a pile of bodies and do what pretty much anyone would do. I mean, Oprah Winfrey could have done an even better job as America's Mayor.

Well, try comparing him to another mayor who faced a horrific disaster.

"..do what pretty much anyone would do." That's a little shortsighted and phony.

I like him because he's got a little bit of both sides in him, and he's not driven by that mystical thing called faith. I also don't see him selling himself out to someone else's personal interests.

Oh.. and he can give a damn speech. Small item, but after eight years of Bush and his inability to sell his ideas by speech, Guiliani would be a blessing to everyone.

Do you think they'll butt heads, Dan? Because I think Hillary and Barack will butt heads again. Butt heads pretty much describes the Hillary-Barack situation. The one with the bigger butt will become the head head-butter. I'm glad I'm not a big-butted bitter butter; I'm better, you betcha, Sambo!

"Well, try comparing him to another mayor who faced a horrific disaster."

It's not politically correct to say this, but Katrina was 100 times worse than 9/11 and Louisiana had about 1/100th the resources of New York to cope with it. I've been to Ground Zero and I've been to the Ninth Ward, and I gotta say, the hole in NYC is chickenshit compared to miles and miles and miles of abandoned houses. The rest of the country may not realize it, but 90% of New Orleans still looks like Johannesburg after a neutron bomb attack.

And to think that after 9/11, even our broke-ass state spent a couple million to send a fire truck up to New York, like they need the money. When we get a hundred thousand homes destroyed, we get jack shit, unless you think we get the warm fuzzies from seeing nearly all of the highly-touted reconstruction money disappearing into the unaccountable pockets of the same government contractors who left Baghdad in shambles and walked away billionaires for their "heckuva job".

No argument with you, Scar. I forgot about the fire engine. Your state? It was one hell of a gesture.

But the two mayors? That's the comparison here. Remember Guiliani giving the Sheik's ten-million-dollar check back? What do you think Nagin would have done with that check? "...we get jack shit,..." You've gotten a lot. Where is it? Also, keep in mind the Katrina disaster is bound by insurance companies paying up, as well. Seems to me a strong mayor would be accountable for government monies sent to rebuild so that government contractors don't walk away with it.
