Malkin And Powers To Do Fox Show
Well whatdya know - interesting. Fox more than any other network seemed to almost compete with some niche blogs for breaking news and so forth. Good to see them embracing blogs ... and Michelle ... and Kirsten, even if she does have Clinton cooties.
Best of luck to them both!
Fox News Channel is testing another pilot on Sunday that will air following its experiment in news satire, "The ½ Hour News Hour."
"It's Out There," a half-hour of stories derived from blogs, will get a half-hour test run following Joel Surnow's satirical take on news.Show, fronted by conservative blogger-columnist Michele Malkin and former Clinton administration operative Kirsten Powers, will take on political and cultural issues enflaming the blogosphere.
The first episode will look at John Edwards' virtual campaign HQ and other candidates using social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace to reach young voters.
The pilot airs in a timeslot that's sported a grab-bag of specials and repeats of shows. Both pilots are part of FNC's bid to develop a more permanent lineup for the night with young-skewing skeins that can attract and maintain an aud(sic).

Legalize. How much do you want to bet that the crowd in your KKK pic are largely, if not all, Democrats.

"when her home address was posted online, she MOVED. Thats some funny shit"
That's cuz she knows there's creeps like you out there Bob.

Wow, that's neat, Legalize. I didn't know you were a preacher, or perhaps a judge, although I did question your objectivity if you were ever to become a judge. I can't remember the thread offhand, but it's unimportant, as the point was well made. Good thing you are in NY and I'm in Texas.

Got links, LOL?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamil_Hussein_controversy
check the references on here, both NYT and WaPo checked AP. As I said, wingnuts don't know this because that would blow their whole "MSM does not correct itself" theory, which was the essence of jamilgate.
It would also point out that the NYT and the WaPo checked with the local Iraqis in the area of the burned mosque, something Malkin couldn't bring herself to do.
Another irony of her "investigation" that was astounding was her tunnel vision. She took photos of one of the Sunni Mosques to show that it had not been "destroyed" (a word the AP itself corrected). In one of the photos on the inside you can see a picture of Sadr on one of the walls, but she fails to note this detail at all. Sadr's pictue in a Sunni Mosque, ehhh... I think that means the mosque changed hands!!

I think the show will be good. Powers is very honest and credible and doesn't seem driven to shutdown anyone nor to bore anyone with talking points. She and Michelle will be great.
It's also a terrific idea for Fox to give two cool women a political show. Just think - they might even be a model how civilized people on different sides of the political spectrum can get along. Imagine that.

"Hmm...Legalize, that's an American flag at that Klan rally. Are you now going to come out for the banning of the American flag, it being used as a banner of hate and all, kinda like the Confederate flag? And before you start your Confederate stuff, I could care less about the Confederate flag, I was just curious about your apparent lack of consistency, if you don't come out against the American flag.
Of course, it might have been that skank LOL who was bad-mouthing the Confederate flag the other day, I don't remember, but since you and he think alike, you can answer for the both of you."
Dude, you don't have to type out EVERYTHING you read on the men's room wall. Take a deep breath. Now, think about your question; translate it to English; and get back to me. I'll be out burning Jeff's Confederate flag collection if you need me - oh, and engaging performing a number of gay marriages.

Another "The ½ Hour Hindenburg" in the making?

What about the fact that someone thinks its funny that Michelle had to move because some dirtbag liberals take their political views to the extreme. I think it's fair to say extremism in any form is bad - conservatism, liberalism, atheism, Christianity, Islam. All in moderation.
The fact is that today, conservative pundits aren't safe because terrorist-liberals want them literally dead.

Actually, Amherst. Buffalo isn't known for nice housing. And actually, Buffalo got named in the top ten cities to live by Forbes. Anyone who wants a job can get one, housing is cheap. In the suburbs, crime is near the lowest in the country. Buffalo gets a bad rep, but the area is beautiful, you should seriously come up here. We have Niagara falls, Letchworth state park is nice, I think you would enjoy it.
Although I hear you have a nice paper company in Stamford ;P

A confederate flag in shithole Buffalo=funny. A Buffalo townie who burns said confederate flag=priceless. What a dumbass, hahaha.

Hehe, TK, I flew a Confederate flag outside my home the other day and some punk came by and burned it... luckily I got his picture, and the cop who came to my house goes to my church, so they are actually going to figure out who he is. I support the Confederate flag, and always will. It's not a sign of bigotry, its a sign of any American's roots.

Funny? Umm, well...

It's because a couple liberals are brainless and take things way too far.
A nobody got attacked simply for a being a Republican, imagine what would happen to Malkin.
Posted by: Jeff | Friday, February 23, 2007 at 03:58 PM
The funny thing about Malkin is that she has a big mouth and no problem making personal attacks against others but when it comes back to her... Case in point, when her home address was posted online, she MOVED. Thats some funny shit.

Meh. A Liberal attempt at humour.

You have to admit Powers is a real, true hottie and she is getting less and less liberal by being on with Malkin and Oreilley IMHO.

The sad thing is "MSM" outlets actually did a better job of investigating and disproving some of the AP's reports.
Got links, LOL?

"She didn't even manage to interview a single Iraqi in her whole report "on Iraq"."
Funny, but I watched several interviews with Malkin and Iraqis, with translators, at Hot Air.
So, where'd you get the idea that she didn't interview any of them, LOL? And have you seen any interviews with anyone who gave a first hand account of the "Burning Six" episode?
Posted by: Pablo | Friday, February 23, 2007 at 02:25 PM
You know what happens when you assume? Except it won't be me.
Posted by: Jeff | Friday, February 23, 2007 at 02:19 PM
oh if you don't think the JamilGate will get talked about on this show (if it's on air long enough that is), you're a fool.
The sad thing is "MSM" outlets actually did a better job of investigating and disproving some of the AP's reports. I guess the wingnuts just ignored this.

"I suppose"
You lambasted her show based on a supposition... I think you got a lil' bit carried away.
Posted by: Jeff | Friday, February 23, 2007 at 01:51 PM
ha! I suppose this show will open with Malkin talking about her deep investigation into Jamil Hussein. Where she went to Iraq, took photographs of 1/4 mosques, contacted us military personnel, none of which had a first hand account of the violence, contacted other us government agents, and decided that her investigation was thorough enough from this.
She didn't even manage to interview a single Iraqi in her whole report "on Iraq". So that's how "breaking news" works on blogs I guess? Malkin didn't even check records of iraqi hospitals, morgues, or contact any AP reporters in Iraq for her story. Haha, and this is the height of wingnutosphere investigation!
Don't you find it a bit ironic Dan?
