Their wonderfully educated, in tolerance and self-esteem, school children have started killing them.
The 15-year-old and his friends were taunting the homeless man -- throwing sticks and leaves -- after having a couple of beers with him.
No big deal, Moore says, but he's sorry for what came next.
It was a mistake, he said, a sudden primal surge that made him and his friends Luis Oyola, 16, and 17-year-old Andrew Ihrcke begin punching and kicking Baum.
"Luis says 'I'm gonna go hit him,' We're all laughing, thought he was joking around,'" but he wasn't, Moore concedes. "We just all started hitting him."
They hurled anything they could find -- rocks, bricks, even Baum's barbecue grill -- and pounded the 49-year-old with a pipe and with the baseball bat he kept at his campsite for protection.
Ihrcke smeared his own feces on Baum's face before cutting him with a knife "to see if he was alive," Moore said.
After destroying Baum's camp, the boys left the homeless man -- head wedged in his own grill -- under a piece of plastic where they hoped the "animals would eat" him.
Then, Moore says, they took off to grab a bite at McDonald's.
Baum's murder was indicative of a disturbing trend.

Got nothing to do with Liberal / Conservative. They're just stupid, sick kids.

"All Nathan Moore said he wanted to do was smoke pot and get drunk with his friends".
Hm....sounds like Legalize. And this happened in Milwaukee, the city of the Democratic tire slashers. Looks like the Dems have some trainees coming along, well, after they get out of jail. Then they can vote multiple times, commit felony voter fraud, and get elected to office. Living the Democratic American dream, baby!

Got nothing to do with Liberal
The hell it doesn't. It is directly the product of the liberal social welfare and educational system that took out morals and values in exchange for metal detectors.

Liberal Social Welfare? The facts don't support your opinion. Most European countries have much more liberal social welfare systems than we do, which by your argument would mean higher rates of violence. Their homicide rates are actually much lower than ours.
In 2003, there were 189 homicides in Sweden [3]. In 2001, there were 169, which gives a rate of circa 2 murders per 100,000 inhabitants. This figure is in line with most European countries, which also have a level of between 1-2. For comparison: U.S has 6 murders per 100,000

Whereas if they had gone to a nice Catholic school that taught morals and values they could have grown up to become priests and then they could prey on altar boys.

Heh. If this is indicative of what we can expect of our youngest Dhimmicretins (Democrats for those of you libs to stupid or stoned to figure out the allusion) ...
... then the Democrat Party is truly the Party of the Caliphate.
The Muzzies seem quite fond of random acts of utter cruelty as well as the young beastlings... and oh noes, here comes the Godwin's Law violation:
The Brownshirts were also noted for thier brutish tendencies toward "the unwashed masses" as well.

"...then the Democrat Party is truly the Party of the Caliphate."
Ok. "Caliphate" is definitely your favorite word. How and why you work it into every comment, relevant (rarely if ever) or otherwise (99% of the time), is beyond me. There must be some sort of skill involved. I've always wondered - and perhaps you can tell me - does insanity hurt? Or is it just kind of a numb feeling?
Posted by: Legalize | Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 08:48 AM
I dunno about the insanity, there Doper-boy. That is probably much more up your alley than mine with all that doobie you must be smoking, or perhaps you dabble with the wacky terbacky to numb yourself away from the painful reality of having to put up with all of us mean ol' conservatives?
And, maybe you should put down the bong for more than two hours at a shot: you might begin to figure out that the Islamists (read: Caliphatists) have no other agenda than to screw the whole planet down under the rule of Sharia law, put women into Burkhas (oh dear, there goes that whole women's lib thing, eh?) and slap you around when you come up to pay your Jizzya tax like a good little Dhimmi.
Go check out http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.com/ - it would be a good start for you.
Not that I expect that you'll read it with an open mind.

With improper supervision, unlimited access to youtube and violent video games, absolutely no moral education, a world-view that this life is all you get so you better get yours while the gettin's good, and passing off the responsibility of educating your child to someone else, you, too can raise a boy to believe that killing homeless people is a sport!

Your originality is matched only by your meth-induced rantings. And I don't need an explanation of the meaning of the world "Caliphate." I was just remarking that it is cute that you learned a new term from one of the winger blogs recently and that you feel compelled to work it into a thread about inner-city crime, and wherever else your deluded mind thinks it should be tossed - much like how a child repeats "Mama" or "Dada" every chance it gets.
The difference between the sane and rational world, and the one in which you currently reside, is twofold (read: 2 reasons):
(1) rational and sane persons all understand that radical Islam has naughty ends in mind for those it considers infidels; this is nothing new. Political Islam and off-shoots of it have been around for centuries. All attempts have failed miserably, given that the "state" is an inherently repugnant concept to Islam, i.e. there is no civil structure in which political Islam can exist, which is why Islam has not developed or innovated in terms of civil society since about the 7th century or so. No one in the west craves the imposition of shari'ia law, which should be evident to anyone honestly paying attention.
(2) It is only the highly paranoid, militant, obsessive, and sociopathic members of western society who actually think that an ideology that has been a demonstrated failure in all matters relative to maintianing anything resembling a civil society, will somehow gain the competence requisite to impose itself on the most economically, politically, militarily, and legally advanced and powerful nation ever created.
You and your fellow Christofascists spend your time fretting over a bunch of rabid assholes and creative ways of slaughtering anyone who looks like them, i.e. "the other," while ranting and raving that anyone who does not share your deluded vision MUST be blind or merely a sympathizer of radical Islam. In either case, you would be easy to laugh off if there weren't a sizable minority of unhinged and unstable lunatics out there plotting revenge fantasies. The fear is that anti-American fascists like yourself will someday ruin this country. You are far more capable of it that anything radical Islam could toss at us.

I think those kids were probably reading this board, thought the homeless guys were Muslim, and decided to act out what many on this board recommend - kill 'em.

Dear legalize;
While I agree with your assesment of radical Islam as far as being a failed ideology this does not mean that they would be unsucessful in the short term instalation of a dominate Taliban like government in the West. History is full of examples of small groups of highly motivated, utterly ruthless people impossing their will on the majority for extended periods of time: nazies, communists and just plain dictatorships.
What these all have in common is that they gained power through carefully directed violence and the apathy of the vast amount of the population. When I say apathy I mean people being willing to follow the path of least resistance to insure their own and their imediated families personal safety. If everyone says it can't happen to us then it can and most likely will.

I have to give credit to Legalize for his numbered items. You probably study Fukuyama, Legalize?
Fukuyama dismisses the 'fringe' and pretty much ends his philosophizing there as he is against the war and claims no fringe element has ever taken over a large, powerful society. I can't imagine Americans succumbing to jihadists nor do I worry about a successful caliphate ever happening. Southdakotaboy brings up a point about apathy that is valid. But it's valid only to a point. I don't think there is a more vicious collective of furious outrage than Americans when they 'realize' that their freedoms are threatened. Right, left, moderate - it won't matter. We all like our liberties and freedoms, so I don't worry too much about the apathy other than it has to be balanced by some hyperbole of hysteria sometimes. That's the stuff you libs like to make fun of.
It would be nice to see this new enemy for what it is without the stupid political bi-partisanship - which for the politicians is a utility. We've never faced an enemy like this, so the average person has little to go on in terms of what to do, how to do it. So, we wallow in the political and media hysteria and give in to the conquer & divide they promote for votes and ratings.
Cab driver tries to run down two college guys. Young kid goes on a shooting spree in a mall. Both Muslim assailants. Nobody even blinks.
It could very well be we are the problem.

Some perspectives:
Apathy, and rejection of God are nation-killers. It took down both Roman Empires - East and West, but the ostensibly "Christian" Eastern Roman Empire of the Byzantines in particular.
21st Century America is a very large, polycultural society with a very thin monocultural veener of commercialism twinged with an almost corporate Christianity, which amongst the majority of its would be adherents, has become as "salt which hath lost its savour, fit only to be trodden underfoot". (Matthew 5:13, paraphrased)
This thin veener which glosses over the USA is that which holds our disparate and hyphenated-American societies together. We are less a "melting pot" than we are a "jello mold" - picture a jello dessert with large chunks of fruit suspended in it.
Large, direct attacks against us are usually enough to solidify us into a more or less uniform opinion against the perpretrators of the attack(s), such as Sept. 11th, 2001.
But the style that the Caliphatists prefer is the "Death of a 1000 Cuts", the slow, piecemeal devouring of a little of this and a little of that.
The subtle tests of our reaction, such as the "Flying Imams", or the "Sheikh Gilani Streets".
I say that the Caliphatists - the masterminds of it at least - are a patient lot, having felled longer lasting empires than our own; Byzantium fell over a period of 400 years of steady wars and diaboloical schemings to the first of the "musselmen" invaders. They could have ill afforded to have thrown themselves against the might of the Eastern Roman Empire of the 8th Century no less than they could topple the USA in less than a generation from now; but if we do not mark ourselves with diligence, then we can rest assured that this great nation shall also fall under the dark shroud of the luciferic moon god, so called "Allah", and its wicked pedophilic "prophet" Mohammed, may his legacy be forever accursed.
What this nation really needs - is to repent before God and His only begotten Son, and to return to Him:
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
(2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV)

America is kind of like a badly run bar at the moment. Sure everyone is having a good time right now but the bouncers are boozing it up on the job. There is always that one jerk thats looking for trouble (radical muslims) and some of the jocks are starting to eyeball him. All its going to take is that one punch (school shooting) and all hell is going to break loose. And just like any bar fight things are going to get out of hand fast and all sorts of other fights are going to start. We have a growing gang war between the black community and the hispanic community that is just looking for a trigger. They both hate the Asians (LA riots). Will this country survive this? Absolutly. Will we come out of it looking different? Again, absolutly.

As an aside, "Legalize"... allow me to assure you that I, unlike you, do not dabble in illicit drugs.
And, I have enough to deal with co-existence with you unhinged mouth-breathing liberals without mind-altering drugs, so I'll kindly decline your advice to start as well.
Speaking of which... I hope that you will read this when you have come down from your "Reefer Madness"...
So - I will ask you again:
How is it that you, a Law School Graduate... continue to use the -fascist as a suffix?
There are currently no governments which are either constituted or otherwise is run by fundamentalist Christians, much less in a position to nationalize or co-opt the business concerns of that nation in the manner of those few nations in history that were genuinely fascist (Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan with the Zaibatsu, or Italy under Mussolini).
I guess by a stretch we can say that the Islamic Republics might lean that way, and Saudi Arabia, while co-opting its oil export industry, is technically an absolute monarchy.
I can loosely agree with you on your first point - in that no _SANE_ person would want to get friendly with Islamists nor give them room to move in our land without let or hindrance to spread its poisonous message, much less take over the government.
I'll concede that an outright siezure of power is probably unlikely - within my lifetime... so in lieu of actually hoisting up the Islamic Banners over the White House, I'm sure the Wahabbists, Salafists and other Islamists will be more than happy to see the USA spiral into chaos over several generations first.
It is just that SOME people (like most of you elitist liberals who think they know what is best for everyone) have more of a propensity for helping them out, whether it is through direct acts of treason, or indirect acts of deception and/or ignorance.

Good metaphor, Southdakota. Your scenario sounds bloody and cruel, but it seems to be one of the side-effects of democracy that complacency rules for a while and makes us sloppy and vain. Once we get like that, it takes something real big to bring about a self-correction. And as you say - it will most likely be for the good in the end. Change..
