Wow - the whole story looks so incredibly sad.

(February 8, 2007)— One-time Mexia chicken restaurant waitress turned Playboy model turned heiress turned reality TV star Anna Nicole Smith died Thursday afternoon after she was found unconscious in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., a law enforcement source told CNN.

They haven't determined yet. It really IS sad but you could almost see this coming. Her life just went through the downward spiral after the death of her son daniel. Through just about every interview since then she had always looked like she was heavily medicated and just generally depressed. So sad.

In Memory of her service, Cpl. Jennifer Parcell, 20, of Bel Air, Md. Died on wednesday Feb. 7 2007 while in supporting combat in the Anbar province.

May we all keep this young woman's family in our prayers and remember that our heroes in service to our country are needing our prayers as well. May God comfort the Parcell's family and may God give them peace in this time of grief.

Also, may we all show a bit more courtesy and class when commenting in threads such as these. Regardless if the person who passed was a media icon who lived a troubled life or was a young woman who died in the service of our country it does not matter. As people we should show a little bit more empathy in such events....politics has no business in this thread.

Anyone who has ever had a sudden death in their life of someone very dear such as a child can understand shock. Everyone handles shock and loss differently...and it can take months to begin to regain your balance and begin to heal from a sudden loss. Valium is very depressing, and I am sure only made her depression worse, because it did mine after my fiance was killed suddenly in a boating accident. But valium does ease the pain for the moment to help you cope. It took me months to begin to rebuild my life after my loss, and once again, everyone handles loss differently.

I cannot imagine losing my son 3 days after giving birth to my daughter...I don't think I could handle it either.

I am sorry the tabloids want this to be an OD or a murder. Personally, I think 105 fever is an indication that she was very ,very physically ill...I thought I heard the Medical Examiner say something about her intestines...she may have had septicemia from bacteria in her intestines getting into her bloodstream which is an acute medical emergency.

When her fever hit 105, she needed to be brought to the ER...
