Nine-eleven terrorist sentenced, good.
A federal appeals court convicted Mounir el Motassadeq, a friend of three of the suicide pilots, in November of knowingly helping the hijackers and sent the case to a state court in Hamburg for sentencing.
C4 in Miami, not so much.
The package was about to be loaded on to a cruise ship when the test sparked an alert, the U.S. Coast Guard said. Six tests were run, with each coming back positive, officials said
C 4 destroyed without harm - good. Determined to not have been a threat.
The package was destroyed, and a Miami-Dade County police bomb squad was inspecting the remains to determine if there were any explosives inside.
Absolute must read for today - here. Be sure and read it all. It is the challenge facing free peoples everywhere, or one day, we will cease to be free.
President Bush has said that the war against global jihadism is more than a military conflict; it is the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st century. We are still in the early years of the struggle. The civilized world will either rise to the challenge and prevail against this latest form of barbarism, or grief and death will visit us and other innocents on a massive scale.
Given the stakes involved in this war and how little is known, even now, about what is at the core of this conflict, it is worth reviewing in some detail the nature of our enemy - including disaggregating who they are (Shia and Sunni extremists), what they believe and why they believe it, and the implications of that for America and the West.

He did a good job on this, but it was like entering the twilight zone as the details became clear. Or maybe the twilight zone effect was realizing how many people of the west don't realize and accept these details as truth.

Thanks. The Indian railways needs to budget for getting the railways to wear a daiper ASAP. Any way the message can be got out, so we get public health the world over addressed, as opposed to more Billions of $ going to guns and weapons... ??
By the way, any information as to if the bombing and shooting and looting in Iraq and elsewhere that weapons and armies engage in, adds to global warming ? How can we get weapons sale to be banned between nations, and get a peace process going ? We need a globa peace summit ? Can we do it in Las Vegas ?
