Barack Obama has a plan.
Is it fair to ask how it is he thinks himself capable of plotting military strategy for the Unites States when he can't even get out an important press release without a tyopgraphical error?
Mistakes happen in war and PR. Hopefully Obama can get a handle on his PR staff before moving up to bigger things.

Contact: Tommy Vietor or Robert Gibbs, 202-228-5511
Date: January 30, 2007"Our troops have preformed brilliantly in Iraq, but no amount of American soldiers can solve the political differences at the heart of somebody else's civil war," Obama said. "That's why I have introduced a plan to not only stop the escalation of this war, but begin a phased redeployment that can pressure the Iraqis to finally reach a political settlement and reduce the violence."

Do we really want to go down this road? The list of W's spoken gaffs is long and illustrious.

So what. At least he knows the meaning and pronunciation of the word.
Bush certainly wouldn't.

Wow, a typo. Thats almost as bad as declaring Iraq an imminent threat, invading, and then finding that there were no WMD's. Complete the mission, asshats.

Let me get this straight - because I haven't read the wingnut-o-fax detailing the hive-mind's talking points yet - but we're supposed to take your criticism of a typo seriously, when you haven't been correct, credible, articulate, honest, or anything above a smear merchant regarding any of the drivel you've posted on this web site in at least the past six months?
*waits patiently for you to enlist Chuckles the Clown and his goose-steppers to direct trafic this way so that you get dozens of posts that make it look like you've won an argument - again.

Dan, I love the overall desperation in your posts lately so much that I've dedicated a post on my blog to it. C'mon, you've got to be able to bring more than this. I often tell my students "quantity doesn't equal quality".

Whoa... A typo in a press release! That certainly shakes my confidence in the Obama campaign! Thank god the sharp mind of Dan Riehl is on the case.
Coming up next: eyewitness accounts of Bill Richardson jaywalking, John Edwards caught on tape splitting the infinitive, and dramatic photographs of Hillary Clinton using the wrong fork at dinner.

Poor poor Dan, the Obama campaign has already corrected their error so how is what they did any different than when you screw up, get called on it, you change your mistake, and then try to ridicule the person who pointed it out trying to claim you were right the whole time? Enquiring minds would like to know?

Let's see - Obama does a spelling error and you go out of your head over 'preform' instead of 'perform.' Bush invades Iraq because he can't spell Iran and that's just all right. Wow.

"Is it fair to ask how Bush thinks himself capable of plotting military strategy for the Unites States when he can't even get a coherent sentence out his mouth?"
No, people who bring that up are typically "east coast elitists. Those who point out that W, himself is an east coast elitist, are typically communists and/or French.

Breathtaking. Simply breathtaking.
This has got to be the stupidest fucking blog on the face of the planet.

Sad but true Doug but I have seen even more lame blogs than Mr. Riehl's.
