Obama, The Fox and Some Friends

The real irony here is that everyone is jumping on Fox, Insight and the Right for being behind the Obama / Madrassah rumors.

Who owns Fox? Who did Murdoch raise money for and compare to Thatcher?

Oh, that's right ... it was Hillary, not some candidate from the Right.

Jonah Goldberg on the Obama madrassah nonsense:

I'm siding with Howie Kurtz over our friends at Insight.

the idea that Hillary is behind this attack doesn't quite track for me

If all this makes me part of the liberal mainstream media in Insight's eyes, so be it.

I agree with Goldberg on the madrassah and once a Muslim always a Muslim stuff appearing to be over the top. But from going wobbly on the war - to giving Hillary's people the benefit of the doubt without even offering a theory as to why anyone else would do this now? That Goldberg thinks Insight may be the only one watching who feels he's nothing more than your basic MSM type these days is the real stretch.

The more I read some of what passes for analysis, or critical thinking by some allegedly informed talking heads, the more I end up thinking most are a bunch of hacks doing lunch and phoning it in while outlining that next hopefully best selling book that'll get them out from under having to work at all.

The Clinton camp denied it (I'm shocked!) and used it to slam conservative media ... (Gosh!) Maybe Obama, Hillary's main competition, took a slight hit - and this is all part of some VRWC? Gee, where have I heard all this before?

Sounds like Hillary's people played Insight just right and has left them holding the bag, while an allegedly right-side pundit like Goldberg is studying the menu for his next DC free insider meal while offering nothing of substance or even decent analysis to the story.

It just doesn't "track" for him. Thanks for enlightening us, Jonah. Too bad it's difficult to conclude what, if any, track you're actually on.

The Crew emails forwarded to the FBI weren't redacted , right ?

Posting a reallllllllly long pile of the same stuff already posted makes for lots of hard work for your readers whom you hope will give up ...but when one reads it ALL , including the PDF , not just the Leftwing blogs ( most of the people I know on the left read the blog to Find the Link , not to have someone summarize the parts useful to their cause , just to debunk what you say we do ) one finds that even the FBI themselves ( as they keep telling major news outlets ) should have been more vigilant in protecting kids , and that CREW didn't provide them redacted copies of anything , and did it much sooner than the FBI claimed. The FBI also admitted they lied about CREWS behaviour .

You owe them the same apology the FBI offered.

Gee, perhaps the Clinton camp denied it because there is zero evidence suggesting that they had anything to do with it (other than FAUX' "some people say" crap), and maybe they slammed the radical right wing media because they were the ones perpetuating the story without doing ANY research into the matter - something said media is well-known for. I swear, the intentional denseness is staggering.

CNN has already debunked the Fox and Insight Obama report. Fox and Insight blew it. They must be shooting for the Dan Rather got it wrong award. Obama comes out on top on this.

Bull. It's too early in the game for this to hang on. Remember all the crap coming out about Clinton during the primaries? And hal of that stuff was true. There's not an ounce of truth to any of this madrassa stuff, it has no traction.

Why would Goldberg give Hillary the benefit of the doubt? I dunno maybe that has something to do with the fact that one half of the reporting was bunk (you know, the fundamentalist Madrassah allegations against Obama) so why should he trust the other half (the sourcing to Hillary)?

OK, from a hair-splitting point of view Dan may technically have a case. But they weren't materially redacted, right?

Dan, I can understand you try to get away with this kind of stuff in the main post since quick readers may miss the details. But what's the point in the comment section? Anyone who is here is looking at it in more detail; you're not going to fool anyone here.
