Drugs? You mean like the born-again cocaine abuser that currently sits in the White House? Mission accomplished!

Do angels descend when you pray?

When Pastor Ted Haggard prays, nude men bearing gifts of meth descend from heaven. He gives thanks and praise.

An eight year old boy peeking to see if there really are angels when he prays is "dissing Christianity"?

You have gone nuts. Completely nuts.

He was 6 years old you morons! This will only help Obama. Especially when FOX is the only one going rabid about it. You'll see his numbers increase over this. I'm a Republican but will vote Dem because of the war and I'll definitely vote for Obama.

He was 6 years old you morons!

I don't care if he was 2, 4, 6 or 8 - it's irrelevant. What's relevant is what he chose to put in his book, you idiot.
Geesh. take it up with Hilly, she's the one nuking him. No Republican even sees him as a threat, yet. Pay attention. You know who his current enemies are and they don't come from the Right.

Why are the comments to this (wonderful) blog always teeming with leftist retards?

"Why are the comments to this"

Well, thank you, I humbly assume they always attack that which they fear the most? ha ha ha

Dear God, please shine Your light of Truth on this situation. Help everyone to be able to separate truth from fiction. Amen.

Best lie I've heard in a while. The Russian judges give it a 9.3

Maybe he should use the Packwood/Ney/Foley excuse - I was drunk and need treatment. Stay the course, cons. Complete the mission.

You might want to keep reading the book. He talks later on about his reconciliation with religion and faith.

It's not really that uncommon an experience.

Barack may sincerely have renounced Islam, but remember that that act makes him an apostate, and liable to a fatwa calling for his death by any Muslim fanatic. And you can be sure that a whack-job Imam will emerge and issue just such a Salman Rushdie type fatwa.

Ah, yes. The "Religion of Peace."

Phooey, PA. Simon said he couldn't believe Obama made it to the finals, and Paula slurred her words and simpered something unintelligeable so her vote doesn't count, and Randy said, "Yo. Dude. Go practice some more."

Finally, a presidential candidate who does not believe in invisible, intangible beings helping him like they do in the fairy tale called "bible". Someone who will end up bearing full responsibility for his deeds, not telling the press that "God told me to do this" and thus trying to weasel out of his mistakes.
Go Obama!

This post is just one more reason why the current level of political discourse saddens me. Electability is reduced to arguments over whether a person doubted angels as a child. It is sheer madness, and is exactly why so many good people simply won't participate in politics. Regardless our political leanings, if we don't move beyond the swift-boating and the 2-second sound bites we will lose the ideals our country was founded upon.

HAHAHAHA, this is hilarious! Dan, you are one of the brilliant satirists of the blogosphere. Just like the Onion. "Obama can't be president because when he was a kid, he peeked during prayers" That is too funny. Oh. But then I read further and see you aren't joking. Oh my. Hmm... So dodging the draft for a National Guard assignment, and then going AWOL from the Guard is forgiveable. Alcoholism and drunk driving arrests are forgiveable. Cocaine is forgiveable. Well, umm sure... anyone can clean up and get it together later in life... I guess. But an 8 year old peeking during prayer. Black mark for life?

angels do descend when you pray, and god shows up too, just not if you open your eyes. hillary is a far worse person than obama. at least he is honest, and inhaled. i bet he has gotten laid in the last decade too, unlike billary.

The last thing this country needs is a black muslim or anyone who feels the need to hyphenate their name. All we need is a good American and that's not Obama.

I can't be bothered with anything recently. I've just been sitting around doing nothing. Today was a loss. I just don't have much to say. Nothing seems worth thinking about.

I've just been letting everything pass me by lately. Maybe tomorrow. Today was a complete loss, but that's how it is. Eh. Oh well.

I haven't been up to much today. Such is life. My life's been basically dull today, but that's how it is.
