The first unforced NYT error of 2007. My hunch is that Bill Carter deliberately tried to shower LGF with hits, perhaps to acquaint NYT readers to its middle-of-the-road sanity. NOT!

My guess is that the NYT batting average for accuracy will again be batting below .300 in 2007, as the paper slips into its Walter Duranty mode.
