Let Me 'Splain It To You

Down at the bottom of a post at this basically irrelevant Left Wing rag. Shhhh, they don't know it - along with a great many other things.

Meanwhile, if you're interested in taking a quick look at an amusingly incoherent and borderline illiterate winger response to our debunking of the "lonely Kerry" story -- one that couldn't be more removed from Captain Ed's approach -- see this post at Riehl World View. If anyone out there can figure out what the heck this guy's trying to say, I'd be grateful if you'd let me know.

Debunking? Well, here - I'll just link to Michelle's post on the matter for a substantive response on that whole affair. The fact is, just like The Amerikan Prospect, John Kerry is irrelevant to everyone but the Left after his miserably failed attempt at winning the Presidency.

So I linked a previous photo shop, though I came to appreciate this one more:

Only fitting, Kerry gets a Dear John letter on Iraq from a gal in neon and with a hot ass.

And I gave Kerry, now a perennial joke and a loser to boot, all the seriousness he deserved - which would be nada in Prospect terms. Geesh! The Lefty blogs put all their time in on that silly photo - got it wrong, and still haven't managed to figure out that no one ever really cared. It was little more than a goof ... you know, just like John.

But I am glad that Prospect readers were directed to this bit below by McAuliffe. Funny how Sargent managed to ignored that.

What an inspiration the guy is, ay? Kerry's problem is that he is precisely what Terry McAuliffe called him today - a loser.

You got yourself into this mess by posting a truly bizarre stream-of-consciousness screed that, in the words of Greg Sargent, makes you look "amusingly incoherent and borderline illiterate." Now you're only digging in deeper.

The case of the Kerry photo is closed and done. You lost. You can either gracefully admit that you fell for a load of hooey or you can just drop the whole thing and move on. But protesting that the "lefty blogs" got it wrong is sort of like claiming that there were WMDs in Iraq. That show left town a long time ago.

I agree with what a prior poster in comments said: You wingnuts cling to your hate / mockery of Kerry because it reminds you of better times, back before the overwhelming majority of Americans turned against Bush, the rubber-stamp Republican congress, and their failed frivolous war. By all means, keep beating up on your bogeymen of the past--the Right is, as always, useless in dealing with modern issues.

I agree. There is no way you can hate the guy. I get really embarrassed for him and then feel sorry for him.

But hate is not even in the picture. What is there to hate? Except that creepy-crawly feeling that he's going to embarrass himself again.
