Steve Huff sends this story he's been covering. Steve's coverage begins here and he updates with multiple links here.
Jodi, a valedictorian of her 2006 graduating class at Ark City High and a current member of the Cowley College Tigerettes dance team, has been missing since the afternoon of January 5, 2007. She attended dance team rehearsal that morning, and around 11:30 she called her mom Cindy. With her husband (Jodi’s father) Brian Sanderholm, Cindy owns Ark City Glass.

A female body was found in a black Dodge Stratus, the same kind of car owned Jodi Sanderholm, by divers at the bottom of Cowley State Fishing Lake, 15 miles East of Arkansas City, Kansas. Police would not confirm the body was that of Miss Sanderholm at this time but are awaiting confirmation by a forensics team.

My cousin's daughter was on the dance team in Ark City with Jodi. She said the guy they have in custody used to stock her daughter at parties & things like that. She said her daughter said she can remember being at parties & events & seeing him there & he would just be gleaming at her. It's a horrible thing that has happened. I'm just truly thankful that it wasn't my family. Jodi's sister just had a baby the day after she went missing & she lives in Missouri near my cousins other daughter, so this is really a bittersweet time for their family. My prayers are with Jodi's family & friends.

You need to update your incorrect information. Jodi was not found in her car. Her body was found ten miles South of her Black Dodge Stratus. This is how rumors get started.
