» Iranian Consulate Raided in Iraq, 5 Detained from The Jawa Report
U.S. forces raided an Iranian consulate in the Kurdish north. My understanding is that the Kurds know how to deal with insurgents. They are merciless. Which is why you rarely hear of terrorist incidents in areas controlled by the Kurds.... [Read More]

» US Raids Iranian Consulate from Sensible Mom
Let's hope this isn't like the immigration raids that are a show of force for the cameras and mean nothing at all in the end when the trouble makers are released. [Read More]

ooh... They used helicopters to lower the soldiers onto the roof. I love it.

Using the Kurds is like giving them a chance to reconcile some long-held grievances. Not that they 'should' act on those grievances, but what a powerful force to reckon with as their psyches don't have a built-in turncoat factor.

Hey, any of you 'patriots' seen bin Laden? You know, the guy who actually was behind 9/11. It's been 5 years after all. Any luck on that front or is it kinda like the WMD search. I think I know the answer. Mission accomplished!!

Bin Laden? who is that? I thought Saddam Hussein was the mastermind of 9/11. Does Bush know about this Bin Ladn guy?

At this point in time it's pretty certain that bin Laden is working for AP as a stringer in Bagdhad or possibly writing for the New York Times but I digress.

As for Iran, it appears that the Bush administration at long last has finally gotten things right both as a military issue in Iraq and on the diplomatic front.

Bin Laden is Bin Dead.

So, are we going to hold the "staff" of the "embassy/safe house" for 444 days and parade them out blindfolded and mock iran? Just wondering, since several dipshits are saying we are now just as bad as the iranians. In fact, one dip argues that we are declaring war by violating their sovereignty going into the "embassy/safe house". It took us a while but hot damn, we are finally fighting back against the iranians who invaded America 4 November 1979 at exactly 10:30 a.m. Better late than never I guess. We did have to survive the dhimmi cahter debacle first.
