Read an article about this from something you posted last week. I think it was right after Bush started the surge.

Abu Sayyaf is dead.

well, phoenix, dan, lefty scum..... its been fun, but i reckon this is about it. just realized i'm spending waaay too much time trying to argue with & educate sorry, traitorous left-wing scum. (not you, darlin'. i mean the twats all posting stuff about "31%", as if that were important, and wistful posts about wouldn't it be cool if we lost. them.)

i wouldn't waste time talking to or listening to these dipshits in a *bar*, so why bother here? they want this country to lose. to be humbled. to turn to the socialist elite - "them", in their idiotic little worldview - to shepherd us timid sheep. and the sad part is, every election, we get closer to it. the dems are now technically communists, all collectivist and nanny-state-or-else; and the republicans are now technically "democrats".

so fuck 'em. it's creepy enough just *knowing* there are people like that; much less arguing with 'em. good luck, fight on, and all that. larry out.

Sorry, traitorous dipshit communist scum everywhere will be saddened to know that Larry's thoughtful tutelage is no longer available.

Larry, I don't know what I'm going to do without your tutelage. And what about those British commanders saying that there is no evidence of Iran shipping arms to Iraq? If you drop out, how are they going to know not to believe their lying eyes?

Here's a quote from WaPo (via Glenn Greenwald http://glenngreenwald.blogspot.com/2007/01/investigating-rather-than-reciting.html):

"I suspect there's nothing out there," the commander, Lt. Col. David Labouchere, said last month, speaking at an overnight camp near the border. "And I intend to prove it."

Other senior British military leaders spoke as explicitly in interviews over the previous two months. Britain, whose forces have had responsibility for security in southeastern Iraq since the war began, has found nothing to support the Americans' contention that Iran is providing weapons and training in Iraq, several senior military officials said.

"I have not myself seen any evidence -- and I don't think any evidence exists -- of government-supported or instigated" armed support on Iran's part in Iraq, British Defense Secretary Des Browne said in an interview in Baghdad in late August.

Come come, since when have facts ever gotten in the way of this Adminstration.

Bush thinks that Iran is sending weapons to Iraq, and he surely can find some discredited liars to tell him so, and thus, it must be true.

I didnt' think he was enough of a nut to attack Iran after the debacles in Iraq and Lebanon, but he appears to be a total nut, who is going to go through with his master plan for liberation and democracy no matter how many countries he destabilizes or how many American soldiers he kills or how many innocent people he kills along the way.

Long live the commander in chief.

Larry....

I get it. I'm sorry, too. I'll keep sending you money to get you back into my lovin' arms, honey.

Maybe Danny boy could educate me on why Shia Iran would be giving support to Sunni insurgents who are killing Shia Iraqis?

Me thinks if Iran is giving anyone anything, which I highly doubt, they would be giving aid and weapons to Sadr and the Shia militias that are tied to our man in Iraq, Mr. Maliki.

The idea that Iran is backing the Sunnis is preposterous.

But given that, what, almost half of the sheeple in our country STILL believe Saddam helped mastermind 9/11 there is no doubt that BushCo. can sell this idea of Iran aiding the insurgants when anyone with any brains or even knows who is Shia and who is Sunni could see that it ain't very likely.

I guess Bush really is going to destroy the entire Middle East and it looks like we are still planning to attack Iran.

Sooner or later Europe, the Russians and the Chinese are going to come up with a different power balance to put a stop to this madness.

"educate me on why Shia Iran would be giving support to Sunni insurgents who are killing Shia Iraqis?"

Cuz they're killing Americans too and Iran really don't give a shit about Iraqi Shia other than as political pawns? You know. Enemy of my enemy...all that sort of dreary realpolitik kind of stuff.

Time to step out of Mr. Rogers neighborhood dood and take a look at the real world. You are "reality based" right?

Well, in the real world, the Iranians are not aiding the Sunnis.

But I look forward to an ongoing river of trumped up evidence 'proving' that they are doing just that.
