When Charles of lgf and some of his readers dropped into my comments area for a second yesterday, I warned them that, given my current moonbat infestation, too much logic would likely explode a Lefty brain, or two. It didn't take long.
One of the more annoying hazmats thought he had finally scored a point and promptly set about spaming several threads in celebration of his perceived win:
I really am a liberal dope.
Check out the thread called "Think Positively". It's a thread that begins on a charming, whimsical note, with Riehl wishing for the death of Americans whom he dislikes. You can find it here:
In it, you'll find Riehl claiming that he's a vet, and then, after much shucking 'n' jiving, finally revealing that he was NEVER in the military. What sort of pathetic worm feels the need to lie like this? If any of you right-wingers take this lickspittle seriously, you're welcome to watch Riehl kill whatever "reputation" he might have, with his own two hands.
The hazmat went on to post the same thing here here here here here here here and here. Unfortunately, in typical Leftard fashion, the self-described liberal dope had entirely misread my comment and, likely knowing the smackdown that was coming for being completely wrong yet once, again, he ran around posting retractions:
Gotta retract that last. I misread a passage.
The hazmat went on to post it here here here here here here here and here.
And they wonder why I allow them to comment? If I didn't, I might forget just how stupid many of them are.

I must have missed the part where Dan proves he really served in the military.

I must have missed the part where you served as well, yyy. Until then, you must live by your own words and shut up about all military matters. People who bring up the Chickenhawk slur only prove how idiotic they are, and cannot argue on the merits. The leftist morons self-identify within seconds, which is nice. You must be doing something right when the moonbats go into a frenzy to harass you, Dan. Carry on.

I never said I served in the military. Thus, there is no question that I have never lied about serving in the military.
Danny however has said he served in the military and refrained from showing an evidence that this is a truthful statement. Therefore, it is a fair conclusion that Danny boy lied about serving in the military since he easily could have ended the controversy, but all he did was tell people to Google him, which we all did and nobody but Dan found anything on Google that substantiated he ever served in the military. What to think?
Of course a moron like you would think that, having not served in the military, I am not 'allowed' to comment on the military. How far do you extend your viewpoint. Not being a member of the screen actor's guild or the academy am I not allowed to comment on the quality of a movie? Not being an elected official am I not qualifed to comment on the actions of elected officials?

Wow, we liberals must really be stupid for thinking that when Dan says this:
I have no intention of insulting veterans, as I am one.
He is saying that he is a veteran.

Ha, a stileproject vid on Dan Riehl. Now, I've seen it all.

You see, in wingnut-o-logic, claiming that one is a veteran doesn't necessarily mean that one served in the ACTUAL military; it MIGHT mean that one has been diagnosed with carpal tunnel, or that one got Cheetos stains on one's keyboard; or that due to severe inactivity, one lost one's breath when climbing the steps from one's parent's basement; or that one burned one's self on the frier while working one's shift at Wendys.
So you see, it's not a "lie" when misrepresenting one's military experience.

I'm the guy who posted, and then retracted, the comments that Riehl is crowing about. I already did one thing that is foreign to Riehl: Own up to making an error, and attempt to notify readers about it. Now I'm going to do another thing that I suspect is incomprehensible to Riehl: Be fair.
After considerable evasion and jerking around, Riehl finally provided a link to one of his posts, which contains the following passage:
"As I have had to say here before, due to the eliminationist rhetoric of the Left - which I find to signify a very low character, indeed, I volunteered and served after highschool. I claim no distinguished service in that sense, it was peace time and under Carter...."
This is the paragraph that, much to my embarrassment, I overlooked. I'm not going to quibble about its truthfulness. I jumped the gun in this instance.

Hmmmm.....

My retraction had nothing to do with "fear of a smackdown", lickspittle. (Do you think I give a flying fuck about your opinion, or that of the slave-thinkers who agree with you?!?!) I try to be honest. When I make an error, rather than dissemble or deny or toss blame around, I own up to it. You might want to try this approach sometime.

What are you crazy sglover, just be like Dan and have admin privledges and go back and change the error you made. Dan does that all the time and what is even funnier is that after changing his original post he then proceeded to crow not knowing that I had screen captured his original post.

Life WOULD be ever so much easier if I could only disappear inconvenient or unpleasant facts...

Volunteered where? I don't believe it had anything to do with military service. Dan couldn't make it through basic.
