Don't call them the Monkees, too many voted for them, however unwittingly, for that. Now Dennis Kucinich, lead castrati for the choir of high-minded political elitism and government control has ratcheted up the volume on the Fairness Doctrine, coming soon to an airway near you, perhaps.
Kucinich said in his speech that "We know the media has become the servant of a very narrow corporate agenda" and added "we are now in a position to move a progressive agenda to where it is visible." link
Yes, we have no progressivism in media, we have no progressivism in media today-ay-ay! Is castrati Kucinich in touch with reality, or hearing little voices from not wearing headphones while having listened to Ted Kennedy bellow so long?
Don't let it bother you that it was a free market decision sending the signal of Air America off into the cosmic void to join other necessary broadcasts, like speeches by Hitler and such .... we need more progressivism in media, yes, we need that very thing, today-ay-ay!
I'm so happy, I could sing!
I've already posted on the KFSO issue, and see Newsbusters here.
Bruce Kessler sees ominous forces at work behind this new attempt to create harmonic dissonance between right and left.
Last weekend, Kincaid attended the National Conference for Media Reform, sponsored by the Free Press, in Memphis. Below is Kincaid’s report of the extending reach by Soros and allies on the Left.
Looks like I was wrong and they may be monkeys, after all: proud members of the George Soros European Socialist Choir. I can hardly wait to read the reviews.

somewhere in the bowels of hell, dr. goebbels wipes his brow and smiles. "fairness", he muses, wondering at the brilliant simplicity of it. "der democratz haff vound der vay to control political speech! fairness!!"
he toodles off to tell his totalitarian buddies of the happy news. they make plans for a gala ball/weenie roast for kucinich when he arrives.

What an arrogant ignorant peice of work you are...Please tell me exactly HOW this is a bad thing?
Some comments that were made when it came to music on the airwaves were..."Too little local and regional music, too much brain-numbing national play-lists."
Honestly tell me you can't agree with that comment. Or are you like one of the countless other sheep who like listening to the same crap big corporates like Clearchannel have been shoving down everyone's throats now for years. Or is it that you like to hear the same badly written song 100 times a day because someone paid big corporate America to have it played on the radio that much. As a songwriter, i find it offensive that stations like Clearchannel have dominated the play-lists with what they want to shove down people's throats. They don't play good music...only music that will generate the most $$$ and so if the music sucks then so be it.
So I guess you're just like the rest of the sheep.
MORON!

Warren, it's amazing you can read, given that you're that stupid.
You're a regular effin' miracle, boy!

The difference between so-called "liberal" and "conservative" broadcasts is that the former is wonky, thoughtful and kinda boring and the latter is trumped up hate-speech. And let's face it, just like Sex and Violence, Hate sells.

further proof that for liberals, reality slips farther & farther away. liberal talk is "wonky, thoughtful"??
it is to laugh. liberal talk radio is vicious, hysterical, full of incredible lies, and qualifies as 'hate speech', should they bother to ever listen to themselves.
fortunately, since no one listens to liberal talk radio except liberal halfwits and lonely shutins, the effect is minimal. which is what's got the totalitarian kucinich all fired up, no doubt. since the market effectively shuts them out, the liberals/fascists/totalitarian left turns to their old fave standby: *legislate* themselves an audience. we'll see how this goes...

Right-wing nutjobs on the radio is fine entertainment. You can almost picture the bloated losers that need an impotent drug-addict like Rush Limbaugh to tell them what to think. SENATOR McCaskill is still thanking him for his MJ Fox act.

The clones are thanking her too now that their mass production has been explicitly enabled.

Lets hope that redneck Fox News viewers aren't cloned. America has enough scared sheep.

No guarantees anymore, thanks to McCaskill. Read the legislation - you're free to clone and grow a vat baby to term. Just can't put it in a womb.
