Riehl you are you wingers are so blind to how politics works its amazing.
Yes! Go after Hagel, Specter, and all those others. Gee, you wonder why Santorum only spent a few years in the Senate while Specter has a much longer tenure? Maybe some places you can't run the tardcore wingers and need to have some moderates?
But fine, support hard-right wingnuts and watch as you will lose Republican senators in Maine, Nebraska, and Pennsylvannia. LOL

That sage advice from the clowns who supported Ned Lamont.

If we lose these guys from the Senate, the we won't be losing Republicans that we could count on anyway. If it walks like a D, talks like a D and runs like a D, it might as well be a D

You people cannot really believe that any Senator is going to fillibuster against a non binding resolution.
You CANNOT be that ignorant.

Conservatives need to focus in 08 getting the RINOS out.We will be stronger for it.

By all means, PLEASE do everything you can to turn the GOP in a party of even greater ideological purity. Denounce all left deviationist wreckers! Ferret out the turncoats! Make the hive mind truly ONE!

Exactly. Dont' need or want 'em. That's why the D's are in power now, too many Repubs that act like Dems.

By the way Riehl, have you answered for your week and a half late Edwards smear?

Dan,we need a thread devoted to who is the biggest RINO!The Prize? The one with the most votes leaves the party first.I can't decide between Hagel and McCain!
Posted by: Darth Malice | Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 07:42 PM
you guys are just going to burn your own party down lol.
It's fine, sign this pledge, and if you live in a place with a "RINO" running for re-election, please just stay home in 2008 out of spite. It will do the country good trust me.
Rofl, wingers are so amazing. You get crushed in one election and your solution is to make the party less inclusive. Okay, that's bound to be a politically genius move!
The sad part is, average american conservatives don't read winger blogs at all. Winger blogs are good for testing computer viruses, getting liberals to laugh, and idiots like dan keeps-it-riehl to feel self-important. You guys don't win elections, you guys don't do any real news reporting, you're just worthless egotistical masturbators.

What the living heck is inclusive about either party, genius? What happened to Lieberman, left of Stalin on every subject except for Iraq? Zell Miller was reviled by the left for his conservative leanings. The point is that democrats are better partisans than Republicans. The hard left and the soft-minded who get all their opinions from the evening news and the daily newspapers congealed into a fine mess in November, and the true conservatives stayed home in droves. Like it or not, Bush's poll numbers are down because the Libertarians and Conservatives have begun pounding him, for different reasons but with the same result.
Assuming you're too dense to get my meaning, if you hate Bush because it's in your DNA, and I'm disappointed that he's not building a 1,500 mile, 50 foot tall, electrified fence across our Southern border, we might both give him a bad grade. Capisce?
The only things predictable is the democrats will do anything to oppose the President, even if it means voting against something after voting for it, and that people who are busy masturbating use abbreviations like "rofl".

"What happened to Lieberman, left of Stalin on every subject except for Iraq?"
Left of Stalin, eh? Do you realize how much entertainment you provide for people who are employable, when you type things like that?
Keep it up. We're all laughing at you. And keep driving the unfaithful out of your party. There are few things I want more than the success of your junior high school "pledge".
Posted by: sglover | Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 08:41 PM
Darth,
I follow the news and the blogs and all the Rovian Mindwave transmissions pretty closely, and I never heard that in so many words. If by "don't need ya", you mean we're going to go all wobbly on border security and force an amnesty-for-illegal-aliens program down your throat and fail to aggressively prosecute the Iraq war (because of the way that "the world" would shriek it's horror) - yes, I and other conservatives feel abandoned. Of course, there's none of yyy's "inclusive"-ness there. Republicans lost because they abandoned the conservative principles that got them the majority in 1994.
Posted by: DoubleLeftWingPatrick | Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 08:46 PM
I think the GOP while not saying that phrase really does have disdain for the conservative base.
Posted by: Darth Malice | Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 08:59 PM
Darth,
Disdain or taking me for granted, perhaps November was a message. But the professional politicians don't get it. They're in yyy's "gotta be more inclusive" mode. Yeah, how'd courting the illegal alien vote do you? The whole "new tone" got a lot of cooperation from the libs. Ted Kennedy got his education bill, then couldn't wait to stick his thumb in Bush's eye the next chance he got.
Pfeh. Term limits - two and you're out for Senators, three for the House.
Posted by: DoubleLeftWingPatrick | Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 09:08 PM
Patrick we have got to shed the RINOS,the media has the ability to sniff out traitorous Republicans and give the a platform.Bush has got to stop screwing the base.I think he also has to bounce Rove.It was the swifties that won it for Bush in 04!

Aruban Prime Minister Nelson Oduber paid Jack Abramoff 250,000 dollars to have Conrad Burns

Quit attacking Dan you pasty Liberals!!!!!
Thanks DM but the truth is I'm glad they attack. They attack and try to marginalize everything that exposes them, or that they are afraid of. That just tells me I'm being effective. Notice how it started with the CNN thing?
Let them rant. It only serves to marginalize them that much more.

"They attack and try to marginalize everything that exposes them, or that they are afraid of. That just tells me I'm being effective. Notice how it started with the CNN thing?"
Oddly enough, we often attack and marginalize CNN, too. We're just terrified of everything, these days. Must be because of those crushing losses this past November. Yes sir, and now we're taking out our impotent rage on Dan "Cassandra" Riehl, who correctly predicted the debacle.
Hey, wait a minute...

You are correct Dan.The only ones that liberals attack are effective conservatives. You don't see them attacking the Chuck Hagels.

>Dumbass is there not a public bathhouse calling your name, say hi to Barney Frank when you get there.<
Very funny, Darth. You made me think of something I read last night. From "The American": They list ten 'economically literate' members of Congress. Six are republican and four, democrat. Barney Frank is of that four. Here is what is written about him:
"Some on the Hill call this man, who earned both his bachelor's and his law degree at Harvard, "scary smart." He is to the left of his own caucus, and Frank, the incoming chairman of the House Financial Services panel, describes his philosophy as "capitalism plus." That is, while he says he believes in free-market principles, he thinks they need to be checked with protections. He fleshed out the approach in a March 2004 speech, calling for moderate wealth redistribution. Going rhetorically where others in his party would likely fear to tread, he said, "Our problem today is too little government."
Can't say he doesn't have balls.
Posted by: Phoenix | Sunday, January 28, 2007 at 12:53 PM
Phoenix,I think he gets plenty of balls.:)....He is a brilliant socialist and this is what we have in power.I don't think he is to the left of the Dem Party. He is the Dem Party personified. We are in for a rough ride!
