Dems Support War ... of Words
Interesting, the New York Times certainly doesn't believe in re-deployment when it comes to its war of words against Bush. And their more than happy to oblige the democrats by acting as cheerleader for the launching of investigations. It isn't as though the President would be better focused on the war of terror, or some such silly thing.
We strongly agree with John Rockefeller IV, the Democratic chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, that “the administration’s go-it-alone approach, effectively excluding Congress and the courts and operating outside the law, was unnecessary” and that the White House should turn over documents on the creation of the wiretapping program. If the 1978 law needs to be updated, that should happen in public, not in a secret court.
Funny how this media who so often damages our homeland security by publishing leaks has no such compunction about the publics right to know when it comes to cleaning up their own house.
Charles has the scoop on Reuters having fired a senior photo editor in the previous Adnan Hajj photo shopping controversy. Don't look for details of that investigation, or the name of the editor in the New York Times. It seems their secrets remain their own, it's everyone else's that are fair game.
Wars of words and photos .... and Pelosi draws the line at words. The only fight she really cares about is the political. If she truly believed the surge was wrong, she would be compelled to oppose it with every weapon at her command - perish the thought.
Jan. 18, 2007 — There may be a growing battle between Congress and the president over the Iraq War strategy, but new House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said she won't block funding for additional troops.
Neither the Dems nor the media are interested in supporting a war for America's safety. Both are interested only in wars of words and photos to demean or betray America's cause.
And they wonder why some question their patriotism.

Beldar is blogging again. And, it's worth noting that he's predicting the President will be given opportunities by this congress to use his VETO pen. And, none of the vetoes will be overridden. You know why? The votes won't be there.
Which means the donks only have a meager, or thin, majority. One they're been eroding away.
For some reason the media isn't very good at evaluating things that work. Versus things that fail.
And, they hate Bush. So the derangement syndrome is still full blown.

Not sure if everyone has seen these videos of the US military in Iraq or not, but they are pretty amazing: Hopefully our 'surge' will not include too many of these types...

Cmon, who are you going to get to fight in Iraq? Angry guys with GEDs and few prospects. I'd be pissed too if I was losing to a bunch of 3rd world goatherders.

Why do you use the term losing, Mr. B? Losing what?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Friday, January 19, 2007 at 10:44 AM
We are losing to the Liberal Domestic and International media. We are losing to those who label us as Angry Guys with GEDs, the ones that We keep safe at home to speak from ignorance.
The goatherders are being supported by the Liberal Media and the Liberal Ignorant Asses at home.
If We lose over there the Liberal Ignorant Asses will get their wish, the US becoming a 3rd World Country.
Bertram, choose wisely, You will live with the outcome.

How is losing a war in Iraq keeping me safe at home? It isn't. Should I be thanking your for that? Grow up.

You are safe from the efforts of others.
You are both thankless and shameless, obviously from your condescending remarks.
I have grown up and grown old going wherever 'diplomacy' and other liberal notions have fallen on it`s ass.
Judging from your typical 'party line'comments you are either naive, ignorant or both.
The reason why we have not decisively won a war since 1945 is because of attitudes like yours.

You're totally out of touch. No wonder your party is irrelevant. In case you haven't noticed, the military is volunteer. No one forced you to enlist or to reenlist. Looking for thanks and appreciation is downright sad and pathetic.

Berty:
*I have no party affiliation
*I have spent the larger part of my adult life keeping clowns like You safe to form illusional notions about politics, foreign policy, your erroneous view of the world and your own importance
*You appreciate nothing, take your safe life for granted and owe me nothing
*Your childish tone and comments are not as insulting as you think
*Others that have a keener vision of the realities of this life are keeping you safe to be delusional
And, No, Jocko, I don`t want fries with that burger!
