Unless they're adding up the number of tax dollars they plan on stealing from you. Why learn Math, they already have the NEA in their back pocket protector? ... which ain't about protecting us, or our pocket books, unfortunately.
Teddy "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy is reportedly preparing legislation that would force the President to come hat in hand to Congress before deploying any new troops. Congress has the Constitutional right to declare war, they do not have the Constitutional right to micromanage it. The President via the Constitution is given the job of "running" the war by being placed as the Commander in Chief. Congress trying to micromanage a war is why few Vietnamese today enjoy any freedom.

I'm with Kennedy on this one. Bush has got to be reined in somehow. He's had no oversight for 6 years and Americans are tired of it. Where I live(red State), people are very supportive of Kennedy and the Dems providing oversight and making the president follow the new laws and resolutions they come up with. Mr Bush's last two years are going to be a living breathing hell where he does nothing but dodge subpeonas and criminal indictments. Should be GREAT theater!

Kennedy is threatening blocking budget requests, not unlike what the Republicans did to Clinton in Somalia in 1993. The Democrats did it again after Vietnam was all but lost. It's not new, it's not unprecedented and it's constitutional.
