Update2: I forgot, Ace is a Monk-man. Figures. Actually, it's a fantastic show that I once watched fairly regularly for a season or three.
Update: Debbie Schussel says 24 is going to go PC this year. I sensed some of that in the opener and found it disappointing in that regard. If they lose sight of the fact that it's an action show, it's over, for me, anyway.
Time was there was maybe one TV show a season I developed aninterest in following. Right now I find both 24 and Rome worth watching. Good thing I can catch Rome on HBO On Demand.
I find it interesting that some of what I find to be the best programming is either on Cable, or Fox and some of the other small cable stations. But then when I think about the fact that the majority of America still watches the big three networks, I worry that maybe democracy isn't such a good idea, after all.
Maybe if they just stopped American Idols fans from voting, or something? ; )
Anyway ... 24 has a lot of fans in the Right blogosphere. You can check Wizbang and then go to Hot Air for links to the 24 fest. While not looking at any spoliers, I have a guess of where we're heading.
Jack can't cut it anymore ... the White House, or some such goes up ... and it renews the guy everyone knows and loves for a season of good terrorist cathich and killing chit. But that's just a quick guess.
I also hope we never elect a President with an ACLU-type lawyer sista that can actually get through to him on the phone during a crisis. Oh, and that doofus kid being sucked in by don't call me Ahmed, it's Achmed, was a rich twist. Alas, plenty of bleeding hearts seem to have survived for future episodes. lol

I don't know. The President said 'compassion' as Jack beat a terrorist fag and then let his bitch terrorist beat his old pal.
Can't cut it?
