Patterico talked to Danziger - he's being coy but it reads like it could be another bust of the AP. Hmm, again.

I just got off the phone with Marc “Armed Liberal” Danziger. If everything comes together the way he hopes it will, he is going to blow the lid off of this Jam(a)il Hussein controversy. If he’s able to put together what he told me about on the phone, it’s huge.

Stay tuned - either Danziger has a scoop, or the winds of change changed and blew egg all over his face. And that sucks but it happens .. I know, as it's happened to me. You think you have something big and it falls apart - or you let your emotions get ahead of the facts.

With the help of some friends who have been doing a smidgen of looking, and it appears - appears, but is not certain - that there is in fact a Jamail Hussein in the Yarmouk police station in Baghdad. We'll know more tomorrow.

Not sure yet what this means in terms of the AP story - but will know more about that tomorrow or Monday as well.
