The Muslim Menace
Yesterday I posted in response to Rick Moran on the issue of Muslims in America. This evening I was reading this piece via The Blotter.
U.S. and U.K. intelligence sources say one of the formidable hurdles British investigators now face is the potential ease with which terrorists and their supporters can conceal their movements within a large, vibrant set of British Muslim communities. There are about two million Muslims in England, about 700,000 in London alone.
And because of a longstanding colonial and post-colonial history with pre-partitioned India and post-partitioned Pakistan, travel between England and Pakistan is substantial. Four hundred thousand British citizens and residents traveled to Pakistan last year, which, sources say, makes identifying a single member from one of 300 cells an enormous challenge.
Today Congressman elect Ellison suggests there's nothing to fear and Goode, and I assume others, have a lot to learn about Islam.
Ellison said Thursday that Goode and others had nothing to fear about Muslims.
... Asked whether he thought Goode was a bigot, Ellison said, "I don't know the fellow, and I'd rather just say that he has a lot to learn about Islam....
Forgive my french, but Bullshit. Obviously Congressman-elect Ellison has a great deal to learn about Islam, or should I say admit, as opposed to learn. The Blotter defines reported details as chilling and they are right to do so:
It is a far graver threat in terms of civilians than either the Cold War or the Second World War. It's a much graver threat than that posed by Irish Republican terrorism," he added.
... Their concern stems from the knowledge that at least 1,200 al Qaeda operatives are at large in Great Britain, with about 18 key al Qaeda members among them and at least two highly placed linchpins to al Qaeda operations, who may have made Britain their home base.
Read the whole piece ... breaking up potential attacks regularly, attacks with detailed plans and sophisticated techniques designed to kill by the thousands.
Yet, the newly elected Congressman insists it is others who have a lot to learn, meanwhile joining in a chorus of victimization led by individuals, some of whom have documented connections to terrorism support operations.
Unless or until these alleged moderate and progressive Muslims start spending their time seriously and aggressively speaking out against terror while showing some real effort in helping to root it out, they don't deserve to be taken seriously when they moan about having boarded an airplane, only to be shown out.
Certainly we don't want to persecute law abiding Muslims with no ill feelings toward the West. But the reality is that many Muslim communities provide cover for individuals who are a real and serious threat. If Ellison doesn't want to hear it from a white American, he can always listen to another Muslim. The Constitution is not a suicide pact. And Americans have every right to be concerned about the growth of a Muslim community within the US and to take steps to limit its number, should we choose.
Realities of the Conflict - Between Islam and Unbelief
Shaykh Ayman al-Zawahiri
As-Sahab MediaAnd the first of these facts which we must be conscious of and focus on and repeatedly emphasize, is that the fighting must be for elevating the Word of Allah, and that the elevation of Allah’s Word on His earth means the elevation of His Law (Shari’ah), and that the Muslim cannot possibly be a believer without litigating to Divine Law alone to the exclusion of all other laws. The Truth (Exalted is He) says, “But no, by your Lord (O Muhammad), they are not believers until they make you judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance to your decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction.” (4:65) Thus, it is unimaginable that the Muslims could create a government in Palestine or elsewhere based on the rule of other than the Shari’ah, and whose authority doesn’t come from the Shari’ah.

"had nothing to fear about Muslims."
Other than suicide bombers and minor nits like that of course...

I agree 100%. All too often, "moderate" Muslims piggyback their greivance agenda on the back of the extremists. The terrorists strike somewhere and immediately they whine about being persecuted. They barely acknowledge the attack and then only in the context that just because there are some bad Muslims, that doesn't mean all Muslims should suffer.
Instead of a clear, unequivicable denunciation, we get milquetoast. God help Great Britain if just one of those attacks occurs in the next few days. If it's bad enough, it just might unleash the backlash that many have been saying is hovering just below the surface.

"...is hovering just below the surface."
I don't think anyone has any idea of the rage that *is* hovering below the surface. And it's not radical Muslim rage. Civilization's backlash this time will be really ugly when the pendulum swings.
(I used the word 'civilization' on purpose. Because that's what it is. Radical Muslims live rage. When a civilized society suddenly turns to rage, watch out.)

Looks like the Dems will vote to censure Goode if he doesn't offer an apology. Looks like they've got a great deal of support as well. See what the Holocaust Memorial staff and the Anti Defmation League said about Prager. Keep it up guys, Dems will remain in power forever!

So wait - are you saying that Darfur is in peril because of Islamo-fascist cruelty and NOT because of US foreign policy?
Do I have this thing plugged in correctly?

Islam is NOT civilization. It is the ultimate act of submission of intelligence, logica and acceptance of evil and destruction.
I could go on and on about the evil and delitrious effects of such a civilization ( if thats what you call it - to me Islam and "civilization" are antonyms)...but I'll conclude by saying : I pray that the really civilized west destroys the Islamic menance ( virus) from our beautiful green planet forever. Even if it means nuking all of 'em ....so be it !!!
