Actually there are a couple of items being reported:
More than 1,000 British and Danish troops have stormed homes in southern Iraq, in what they say is the biggest security raid they have launched against suspected militants in the area.
A large cache of weapons was seized during the raids in the southern city of Basra.
The British and Danish forces launched a three-pronged thrust, including an amphibious landing, into a district in northern Basra where Shiite gunmen linked to different groups and tribes are vying for control.
The objective was to detain five known suspects - one of them a local leader wanted for the kidnap and murder of Iraqis and for attacks on the multinational forces.
All five men were captured and although the troops ran into resistance on one of their lines of advance, no casualties were reported on either side.
Twenty insurgents killed in the Northwest, including two women. As has been the case in Palestine, it looks like they've no qualms in enlisting women to die for their cause.
BAGHDAD, Iraq — U.S.-led coalition forces killed 20 insurgents, including two women, Friday in fighting and airstrikes that targeted al-Qaida in Iraq militants northwest of Baghdad, the military said. The mayor of the village, which was the site of a U.S. raid earlier this year, said 19 civilians were killed, including seven women and eight children.
The arms cache found in one of the houses raided included Katyusha rockets, roadside bombs, rifles and rocket-propelled grenades, Dunlop said.

Oh, gee, but fighting these kite-flyin' Mohammedans is like pouring gas on a fire, and only creates more terrorists.
Cordially....

While it is unfortunate anytime there are casualties, I have to wonder how many American lives were saved from finding this weapons cache.

Thanks, #2, for supporting the troops. Unlike the story of the greater part of humanity, those four died attempting to advance a worthy cause and help strangers.
Usually, the many thousands of early deaths in this world are pretty senseless and purposeless.
