Sandy Berger: Trailer Trash
Talk about trailer trash:
WASHINGTON (AP) - Former national security adviser Sandy Berger removed classified documents from the National Archives in 2003 and hid them under a construction trailer, the Archives inspector general reported Wednesday.
The report was issued more than a year after Berger pleaded guilty and received a criminal sentence for removal of the documents.
What I want to know the answer to, aside from what documents he stole, is this:
Berger, who pleaded guilty to unlawfully removing and retaining classified documents, was fined $50,000, ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and was barred from access to classified material for three years.
Three years? What kind of crap is that?
Anyone else would be looking at jail time and a lifetime ban as far as any security clearance. I am sick and tired of the political class in this country, Right and Left, allowing themselves to play by different rules than the average citizen.
This is a damned joke. The man is a thief, a fraud and a joke. Yet, the inside the beltway types don't see it that way. The Berger case is a disgusting slap in the face of all Americans. As long as this mindset prevails in Washington, DC, we will never have a decent government we can trust.
It is precisely this type of abuse that causes so many people to loath politicians and their pathetic ethics, assuming they have any ethics at all.

Yup. Ain't that "special"?
Anybody else would be doing 10 years hard time, pay over 100 grand in fines and have their clearance revoked for life.
But not "good ol' Sandy", nope, no sir!

So much for the leftards "scatterbrain" defense. IMO, its time to get Medieval on his treasonous ass

This is the perfect time for our caped superhero Liberal Avenger to intervene with a scold for daring to criticize a valuable patriot who devotedly served the Murikan Pipple's most beloved President.

The documents this serial eff-up stole had the original comments and may have inculcated Berger in a recommendation he wished to consign to an Orwellian "memory hole."
The American political elites are self-policing, when it comes to the mainstream media which bends over to protect the Clintonistas, and in this case the Archives' deference to a scofflaw and scoundrel like Berger proves that point.
No need for a cover-up. This will just be another instance of the MSM ignoring an infraction on the left while it literally makes a federal case out of the non-event of the Plame-Wilson contretemps.

Don't they hang people for treason during times of war?
Or what is his magic connection that allows him to get away with it? Perhaps they should be brought under suspicion as co-conspirators.

If I did that in my job, I would loose my security clearance, be fired and prosecuted. Why isn't Berger in jail? And why does he get his securitry clearance back in three years?

thanks Dan for bringing this elite thief to everyone's attention since the MSM just hides it all.

As soon as he takes his peepee out and stuffs it into some willing, yawping mouth, they'll get him.
One caveat: The FBI will have to have a undercover slut lure him to Georgia.
Judge Jubal: "Mr. Berger, what else do you have in your pants besides that rude penis?"

Is that all you got?
Put down your whip Dan. The horse is dead.
