A debate over whether or not John Kerry was shunned by fighting men in Iraq has been raging between the Left and Right blogosphere.
You can see Michelle Malkin for the take from the Right. Based on a new photograph, I'm afraid Michelle may have to apologize after all.
I've e-mailed Scott Hennen for a response. One more question: Can anyone verify that the location depicted in the photo is the mess hall at the US Embassy in Iraq, as Scott Hennen's correspondent identified it?
If not, I owe a big apology to Sen. Kerry and to readers.
Blogs on the Left challenging Michelle now include Crooks and Liars, The Carpet Bagger Report, and initially TPM Muckraker. But based upon an un-retouched photograph from Iraq, see below, edited version here; it seems John Kerry was not shunned by all the fighting men in Iraq.
We really should stop questioning Kerry's courage, if not his patriotism.

Love it,love it,love it. That's where he belongs, and has always positioned himself. With the enemy.

Can you see if he runs for president again? Half the country will be sporting t-shirts with that picture of the guys in Iraq with that crazy sign. And maybe Dan can make t-shirts of this lovely shot and sell them on his blog.
Ha.Ha. Everywhere Kerry goes to speak, there'd be people in the t-shirts. I'd kill myself.
