Some of you may remember my blogging about this case a while back. A Georgia Debutante murdered in Savannah. This won't give you a warm fuzzy - from the Black Panthers.
While the Jennifer Ross murder verdict caused intense drama inside the courtroom, the aftermath of the murder trial took on two different tones.
Savannah-Chatham police officers patrolled the perimeter of the Chatham County Courthouse to control any potential problems. There were none.
Real class. How come all these numbnuts are called Shabazz?
The defendants families left the Chatham County Courthouse, led by Black Panther Yusuf Shabazz. They made no public statements.
Shabazz returned following Ross's public statements and refused Coren Ross's handshake.
"I don't have no tears," Shabazz said. "No tears."
Shabazz's message was simple. He believed the prosecution was looking to convict somebody, guilty or not.
"This is blood thirsty. Blood thirsty," he said. "Justice was not served today."
One of the murderers was real contrite. Tell me we don't need a death penalty.

"One of the murderers was real contrite. Tell me we don't need a death penalty." for the parents that raised this piece of garbage.

comedian ron white does a funny little riff on the death penalty: "they're doing a new thing in texas with the death penalty. if you kill someone, & there are at least 3 witnesses who saw you do it, you're not gonna sit in a cell for 20 years on appeal. oh, no: you get moved to the front of the line, bubba."
pause for a drank of whiskey, and a big ol' grin. (comic timing, doncha know)
"other states are giving up on the death penalty....MY state's building an *express lane*".
and the crowd just goes WILD.
yet another reason to be proud of being a texan. some folks DO need killin', like it or not. texans at least recognize this, as opposed to the liberal weenies up north.

Yup. Rabid dogs and murders both, should feel the hangman's noose, or the sweet bliss of a ballistic justice - a small copper jacketed lead projectile impacting the base of thier skull at high velocities.
Or as God said it best: "...So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee."
