Detained Traveling Imam Teaches Jihad To Prisoners?

By searching around under a name associated with one of the now infamous traveling Imams, I came across a document I found a bit curious. It is apparently a test designed for prisoners, given under the auspices of the American Open University.

Ahmad Tafish Shqeirat is one of the imams. This below is in the name of Ahmad Shqeirat.

It reads in part:

[Prisoners who have special circumstances can arrange other times insh-Allah ] Note that this exam is for 100 points and comprises 1/3 rd of the total grades for this course, the remaining being the term paper, and the oral exam (to be taken after submitting the term paper).

And it's perhaps an item or two of the testing material which is most troubling. See items in bold:

Answer all the following questions in exact precise manner:

QUESTION ONE   (25 points

Identify the similarities and differences between “shura” and democracy.

QUESTION TWO   (525 points)

Explain how the Constitution of Medina guarantees human rights while protecting the integrity of the Islamic State/

QUESTION THREE   (25 points)

Explain the method of succession of  the Khulafa accourding to Ibn Taymiyyah.

QUESTION FOUR    (25 points)

Answer the following with true or false, and if false correct it with a precise statement.

a) Mu’awiyyah –may Allah be pleased with him - was never regarded as a legitimate ruler.

b) It is imperative that Allah and His should to appoint the ruler of the Muslims to avoid confusion and detention..

c) Jihad is a crucial aspect and responsibility of the Islamic State.

d) All public offices are considered a sacred “Amana” in Islam full of great responsibilities.

e) Revolt against a tyrannical ruler is never allowed in Islam no matter how great his tyrannical actions.

[May Allah grant you all success in seeking beneficial knowledge

and applying it in practice for Allah’s pleasure.]

Sure would be nice to find the answer key somewhere!

» Airplane Imam Teaching Jihad in Prisons? from The Jawa Report
Remember those imams who were removed from a US Airways flight? Pop quiz cowboy. True or false: "c) Jihad is a crucial aspect and responsibility of the Islamic State." Just one question from a test that Ahmad Tafish Shqeirat, one... [Read More]

Oooh! A Muzzie test. Lemme see if I can ace this test:

1) Identify the similarities and differences between “shura” and democracy.

- only muftis, imams and sheikhs get to "vote", unless of course, it is a contrived monarchy like Saudi Arabia.

2) Explain how the Constitution of Medina guarantees human rights while protecting the integrity of the Islamic State

- It guarantees Husbands the right to beat thier wives, marry thier children off into pederasty, and own slaves. As for the wives, children and slaves - har har.... good joke, Sheikh Shqeirat! Good joke!

3) Explain the method of succession of the Khulafa accourding to Ibn Taymiyyah.

- The guy with the most guns and fanatical followers wins.

4) Answer the following with true or false, and if false correct it with a precise statement.

a) Mu’awiyyah –may Allah be pleased with him - was never regarded as a legitimate ruler. [T] - because a "mu'awiyyah" is the sound my donkey makes when my 32 children take turns practicing their stone throwing.

b) It is imperative that Allah and His should to appoint the ruler of the Muslims to avoid confusion and detention... [T] Durn' tooting. And if that doesn't work, refer to question 3.

c) Jihad is a crucial aspect and responsibility of the Islamic State. [T]. Because killing infidels, Christians and teh J00s is GOOD according to Allah (swt/pbuh/wtf/omg/pwnzxor5!!!1!!)

d) All public offices are considered a sacred “Amana” in Islam full of great responsibilities. [F] Heck no. Only an infidel or an American Satan or a J00 would own an *Amana refrigerator*.

e) Revolt against a tyrannical ruler is never allowed in Islam no matter how great his tyrannical actions. [T] Refer to questions (3) and (4)b - the mufti with the most guns can "sheikh his booty" wherever he wants.

...okay. Do I pass and get my free extra virgin in Islamic paradise?

"guarantees human rights"

The right to be executed in public for minor offenses?

seekeronos,

ha ha. Yes, you get the virgins plus Britney Spears without having to go to Heaven to get her. (You know...for practice.) [You don't want to stand before the 72 Kegel Twinchers and act all goofy.- That's bad form if you didn't use a bomb belt to get there.]

Dan, you know, one good thing about Islam is that spam is haraam.
