Update: I don't know if it's the same guy. But a Jake Taylor from Houston seems to have enjoyed the movie Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.
Wow, Jun 16 2004
Being intrigued by the serial killer genre I have seen this movie thrown around numerous times by Amazon. I decided to rent it and I was blown away. I won't go into extreme detail because it's not my place to spoil this movie for you. This movie is not based on a true story and it is a low budget flick...
She was so full of life," said Mark Scott Pendray. "She was just perfect and some fool had to come along and went and killed her."
It seems the 24 year-old ex-boyfriend was obsessed with her. They knew one another since high school.
The roommates said Taylor was a former boyfriend who kept pursuing Pendray after she had broken up with him. He was not a Sam Houston State student but had been friends with Pendray since high school.
"It was an obsession-type thing," Krystyniak said.
Pendray's father described her as a straight-A student and an accomplished athlete who went on church mission trips.

I sent this story to my brother who attended SHSTC way back when. He belongs to a SHSTC group on line.

Rachel was my friend. She was a great girl and someone violently took her life before she had her twentyfirst birthday that she had been counting down for six months.

My daughter Rachel Pendray is awesome. I am very proud of
Rachel. There were over 1,000 people at her funeral. The
reocession to the cemetary had 183 cars. She is missed by
many people whose lives she touched.

Plujenn, I am so very sorry that you lost your friend. She must have touched a lot of lives even though hers was cut so short.
Mark, I don't know what to say. I can't imagine what you are going through. I am sorry that you lost your wonderful daughter. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
