A Note re Taylor Behl

Just received a note informing me that the 48 Hours program dealing with Taylor Behl didn't run as scheduled. But it will be airing tonight (Dec 16th) if you want to see it.

CBS scheduling has something called "The Mystery of Christmas" airing tonight on 48 Hours. So when will the show about Taylor Behl be coming on?

I am hoping and praying that 2007 will be one of health, happiness and some laughter and of course, love for all of you and for me, too.

If any of you have read Love You More, I would love to know what you think - good or not so good. I am not a professional writer hence the ghostwriter and I have read the entire book despite what that guy said. I didn't re-read the summary of evidence - that was just too painful and I did hear and have a copy of it. And not knowing what was lies and what was't - my mind just keeps playing all sorts of "what happened" and none of them are good when you know the outcome. And if you watch the 48 Hours show, I would like to hear what you have to say about that. But please, remember, I will probably not be able to watch it. They have interviewed Fawley and are doing some re-enactments that I know I wouldn't be able to watch. They have put in so many hours talking to so many of the people involved in the case. I hope that it will be as informative as I think it will be.

Ending on a happy note, I am excited about the Redskins game tonight against the Giants - I am going with my friend Karen.

Sorry another happy note - someone sent a donation to Children's Smile in Taylor's memory - whoever it was - thank you so much! That was very generous and kind.

Plus, not knowing what really happened that night is ok with me. I believe the true details would be too painful to know. After listening to the Summary of Evidence in court and knowing that she lived in fear (as proven by the scent dog) I just don't think I could handle anymore true details of what horrific things he put her through.

I agree Peace, the mind and spirit do leave the body during trauma. I know this personally. In my heart I know that Taylor was strong and although her body may have endured the pain her spirit rose above and away from it. This board is proof that her spirit is still soaring and this must be a comfort to all of her loved ones.

Janet: When you dream of Taylor she is alive and well is she not? And unharmed and in good health? That is a common dream of the departed according the Depak Chopra. I know this is true because I recently lost a close friend of 26 years and I and another one of his friends dreamed of him and he was no longer sick but healthy and like he was before he got sick. They come back to us in dreams as we knew them in good health. Same is true for dreams of our grown children. We always dream of them as little children. My friend came back to me in my dream and told me he faked his death. And then we got to discuss all the juicy gossip surrounding death and funeral and his former friends and family. He loved to gossip about people. It is so nice the departed come back to us in dreams.

Nova - I find that fascinating that we dream of adult children as little children. When my brother died, he came to me as an adult. However, my mother has only been able to dream about him as a child. I've not asked her in years about her dreams of him, but that's how it was then. Why is it that parents dream of their adult children as young children?

I noticed he kept looking at the floor too and to the left. Those are definite signs of lying. I really wish they would investigate him in other missing person cases and in unsolved burglaries in the Fan. I have kept track of the number of burglaries in the Fan. In the month leading up to Taylor's body being located there were 23 burglaries in the Fan alone. In the months following BFs arrest and in late August-September 23, 2006, there have never been anywhere near that many. In fact, in the months following the BFs arrest the burgalry rate in and around VCU & the Fan dropped in astounding numbers/percentages. I've always thought that most of the things he said he "found" and that the LLE catalogued in his apartment were probably stolen and if they had the resources to cross reference the items would no doubt find the same items on their unrecovered stolen articles logs.

BTW, I think he called the "game" Drunk Monkey. He should have gotten the death penalty. I'm guessing all sociopaths believe that their victims are always really the responsible party. He will never stop blaming every one else for everyhting that has ever "happened" to him. I can't stand to listen to that weasel no less look at him and his rotten soul patch.

Can anybody tell me the purpose of this 48 Hours show? Why go through all of this now? Why reenact what Ben said happened in the car --- when everybody knows it is a lie? Why? I guess that is my BIG question! What is this going to show, how is it going to make anything different to any other person. Ben Fawley caused Taylor's death --- he lies about everything, so what is this going to prove/show? I dont' know -- I just think it is a bad idea --- and I won't be watching --- why tear open all those wounds again!?!

Taylor's story may help save another life.Maybe her story could spare another family from the hurt and grief Janet and Matt have to live with for the rest of their lives. If Taylor's story could save one life it would be worth telling it.

I believe that in his lies he will further expose bits of the truth. I plan on looking for the truth as to how he got Taylor in that car to begin with. I have my theories, such as she went to get a skateboard and he suggested she open the trunk and then he hit/punched her and forced her into the trunk or maybe he asked her for a ride and she didn't realize that he had a gun, but we still don't know how he abducted her off the streets of Richmond. This is the type of thing that could provide useful information to other young women. Trouble is, he won't ever tell the whole truth.
