When the political headlines involve drunkenness, passed out women, assault and an arrest ... somehow you just know the Democrats are back in control.
The son of Sen. Bill Nelson was arrested early Wednesday after allegedly pushing an officer in a confrontation hours after he had taken the stage at his father’s re-election party.
Charles William Nelson, 30, was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest.
According to a police report, Officer William Becton said he noticed the woman was not moving and she appeared to be passed out. Police identified her as Kimberly Baxter.
Yep, it's going to be a fun couple of years. Kee-rist, he even looks like a Kennedy.
Don Surber thinks it's already the most corrupt Congress ever. Could be. He left out Bobbie Menendez, who was elected by NJ despite his scandal of having pocketed about $300k in rent from a non-profit he pushed to the government. If you want corruption, go to Blue State America - it's so bad, it's actually expected and accepted.
But then the R's ran a nothing with his Father's name. If the Dems in Blue State America are corrupt - and many are, the R's are a worthless cipher, too afraid to even back a genuine conservative.
AP finally reported Democrats take the Senate, which means that body’s majority leader will be Harry Reid. He was the mentor for Dario Herrera, the Clark County commissioner who is now serving 4 years+ in the federal hoosegow for being corrupt. Before Herrera got tangled up in Strippergate, he helped out Reid by overruling the zoning board and upping from residential to commercial some property owned by a shell company. That quadrupled the property’s value, netting Reid $1.1 million in profit.

cool-keep it coming.

And away we gooooooooo...................
By the way, whatever happened to all of that intimidation at the voting places, or the voting fraud that was supposedly taking place? The MSM was out of the gate and with that on early Tuesday morning....yet we have yet to hear of it today? So exactly WHO was being intimidated, and where is that voter fraud at??
I guess it's because the Dems won.........that we won't hear of voter fraud, intimidation of voters etc. It's all just disappeared...in the MSM..
Ho hum.

I see you have reverted back to your true form..a naval gazing, swift boating scandal monger.
Cheers, buddy.

Well at least he waited until after the election...hey you can't blame him really, He had every right to celebrate the Dem victory by getting drunk...I can't vouch for his behavior after that but even Foley apparently did some bad things DUE TO BEING AN ALCHOHOLIC so give the guy some slack like your buddy Foley.

Yeah the Dems are really bringing corruption back to the house because some Sen's son was drunk. Its not like the president's own daughters ever engaged in such unruly behavior. LOL.
kee-rist indeed.

I don't like Senator Nelson's policies and I did vote against him this election but you can't blame him for his son's behavior.
There are plenty of corrupt jerks in politics, you duly noted a few but Senator Nelson isn't one of them and he shouldn't be smeared based on the behavior of his son.
Donna: I've been wondering the same. Florida is always a hotbed of "voter fraud" since 2000 but I haven't heard a peep out of any of our local or regional news outfits. Makes one think that it's only voter fraud when the democrats lose.

So we've now become "riehlcomedyview", eh?
I'll be more than happy to lay out some kind of wager right now comparing the next two congressional years with the last two as far as corruption.
Keep diggin', I'm sure you'll find bottom soon.

Some people need to re-kindle, or perhaps find their sense of humor.

"really bringing corruption back"
Dem corruption never left. Cold Cash Jefferson is still a member of congress and I hear no noises about tossing him out should he win his runoff.

Hey asshole, remember Don "I'll strangle you, bitch" Sherwood?
You're America's stupidest blogger, and that's saying something, because you have some serious competition from the likes of Rick Moran, Ace of Spades, Atlas Shrugs, etc.

Nah, Atlas is far stupider than Dan. Though it is kinda sick that his "sense of humor" is always at the misfortune of others. If you want someone to find glee in your agony, Dan is your guy.

The difference between Dems and Repubs is summed up by how their parties responded to Foley and Sudds when their conduct was revealed.
Some people have no shame. Dems are people who apparently can't distinguish between a mistaken conclusion and a deliberate lie; between Gitmo and a Soviet Gulag; between abuse and torture; and, most importantly, between the political opposition and the enemy.
Or, as we see today, between being gracious winners and the same assholes they were yesterday.

speaking of 'dirty' harry reid, he's a fine example for the next get-out-the-vote thread. in his election before last, he ran a VERY tight race (against ensign, if memory serves), and squeaked by to the tune of 650 votes, plus or minus.
had just 700 more nevadans made time to go vote, reid would probably be sitting in the federal pen with his little protege dario. no question he's crooked. but also no question he'll ever face serious scrutiny for it: he's now the (gawd help us) senate majority leader.
much easier to stomp on the cockroaches when they're just babies. get out there & VOTE next time!
